I watched this all live. I'm genuinely surprised how well it's aged. Maybe I'm just a product of the time, or maybe the 90s really were fantastic. Being in your 20s back then was just a pure rollercoaster.

Was at Uni in Brighton during this time and life was so much fun. The music was fantastic and this show started the weekend off with a bang. Nobody got offended, life was just for celebrating 🎉

Stumbled upon this compilation by accident. Makes me a bit sad in retrospect because those times were so much better and more fun than life's stink nowadays. Although some of the segments wouldn't be allowed now, it was just harmless fun at the time. TFI was something you'd look forward to getting home to on a Friday night before you trotted out for the night. Chris Evans was right on the pulse here.

I won tickets on Virgin Radio to see U2 and that desk was in the waiting room when i went collect my envelope. It was under a glass desk but you could see it had pretty much every famous persons signature. I wonder what happened to it. Chris must have taken it i think.

I forgot that people used to be able to have a laugh, not just the 90s but throughout the 20th century, god I miss the good old days, music and humour (and personality), the funny thing is that Sean Ryder got the show cancelled twice for swearin in the 90s, I wonder how long before it got cancelled these days

Just looking through your feed Paul. I remember that evening so well! your dad was mortified at the T-shirt!!! Well out of his comfort zone. They wanted to make him look fatter! Helen Mirren was on, she was tiny nervous (your dad took care of her while they waited to go on) she smoked non stop. She was very pleased with her Tk Maxx Armani top and flirted hugely with Chris Evens much to his discomfort. Her niece was the fat Pamela Anderson I can't remember who but one of the staff was all into her niece. Nice memories thank you xx
