Hey!!! 6 minutes and 5 seconds in. Thats me!!! Bloody hell. I was 25 and I had a thing about appearing on tv. But not in the spotlight. They made me go to the front. I suppose because of what I was wearing. But anyway. It was a good time. Thanks for sharing. I’d forgotten about this

In the 90s I had a TV in my bedroom (to play MegaDrive), was up late one night and Private Parts was on Channel 4, first time I saw a naked lady... 28 years old I was...

It's crazy how charismatic and confident Howard Stern is in a country where he's never been on TV or radio before and in front of an audience that have absolutely no idea who he is. He's the master. I wish he had done more stuff over here.

Wow, a blast from the past. Didn't have a clue who Stern was but I was a massive fan of TFI Friday. I was a soldier in Northern Ireland when this was on the telly, and I was on duty in Belfast the night this was shown and I was able to catch it on the telly in the duty room. A few weeks later Stern's movie Private Parts was on in the cinema in Belfast, so went and watched. Been a fan of Stern since!

That's a really good story! Really cool because I'm also on this side of the pond and a diehard Howard fan! I listened to every show since private parts the movie was released. I'm still a subscriber and even have a cool Howard shrine in my man cave! Baba Booey to you!!

I can see someone's first reaction to Stern but after 3 or 4 times watching him he doesn't shut up and he becomes annoying. I from the US and we see him more here he's just annoying he had his day in the sun and thank God it's over.

@@EllaJay It doesn't matter if you or anyone else didn't understand the reference to the show. I was replying to the original post. He said he has been a fan since private parts so I made a show reference he would understand. And so what even if I had an actual real shrine?! I've done well in life and can afford to do crazy things if I want

funny story. Back in the day Sacha Baron Cohen used to do short interviews for MTV, as Bruno. As soon as this interview was over, Sacha was waiting for Howard on the other side of that red door leading out. So somewhere there is an early Bruno interview with Howard...

My general take has been "I hate chris evans" for years just because I see him as a random hangover from the 90s that gets way too many opportunities… but in spite of what people say, seeing him here, I can get the appeal. I think he handled himself pretty well. Howard is infamously difficult to talk to, and I think he did a good job.

@@chrisjames5188 yeah he said it to a British guy on his show. I think it was Russel brand, I can’t remember. But it wasn’t like a big thing since obviously no one in the states knows Chris evans so there’s no clip of it. It's really cringe to see Stern make a deal out of/mention the "black woman" in the UK during a time when people were just people and skin colour hardly ever came up because it was not an issue. Unfortunately nowadays things have changed and we have become just like the USA when it comes to seeing skin colour.
