To be honest Skyjay definitely wasn't playing his best here. Yes Spargo is really good, but after watching so many sets from Skyjay, I can tell he was making a lot of uncharacteristic mistakes and wasn't adapting to the point the commentators mentioned this. I counted three times he didn't react to roll from ledge quickly enough and lost count the amount of times he got punished for using down b and side b fairly recklessly. Love Skyjay and he did great to reach Grands but he must have ran out of steam. Even him missing the timing for that one side b was surprising, I was in just as much shock as the commentator.

@@lyrics2challenged Not true, I've watched plenty of sets that he has won and lost yet this is the first time I've noticed him make these kind of mistakes. Like I said even the commentator spoke about him being slow to react to Spargo's get up rolls, using side-b from ledge too much, and even getting the wrong side-b timing that Skyjay normally never messes up. This is the first I can think of that I've ever commented on his performance like this. I still think Skyjay is the best Incin out there and it's impressive that he has been able to take the character so far.

These commentators unserious but I think they were right that Sparg0 wasn’t happy about being sent to losers. From the start of the set to the end he just pushed Skyjays space, or sat back and waited for skyjay to stick his hand in the cookie jar and eat 60 for it. Once he timed up the side Bs and Revenge it was over, he dismantled skyjay after the bracket reset. I think we’re finally starting to see the gap widen between the very top of this game and everyone else bc this shit never could’ve been close

I feel like skyjay wasnt playing the same. You can see him being more scared of Spargo's spacing in the beginning and taking advantage of how much Skyjay gave him space. Then skyjay went way too aggressive that Spargo just waited and played footsies around. As a skyjay fan its hard seeing Incin's weakness shown so blatanly in this match up. Showing what happens when the other player doesnt make a mistake for Incin to punish.

Skyjay played intimidated. He played reactionary against someone who has the fastest reactions. No one can outpace Sparg0. Skyjay whiffed on too many grabs and mistimed Rages as well. You have to play unpredictable against Sparg0 because he will beat you to all of your spots. If he's not on his toes thinking, then it's a good chance he'll win.
