At this point I'm convinced that Mavalda is the good guy in the original story as well. I swear those children are of a Children of the Corn cult that worship that pine tree, corrupt the town with bizarre eyes and smiles, and speak in black speech. She gambles away the money to keep the children from having funding to their plots, and tries to arrest the mother as she's directly helping the kids. Good treatment makes them stronger.

Michael Winner also intentionally made a stunt scene more dangerous than previously agreed upon/planned, causing the stuntman to not see the landing mat he was supposed to hit. Since the building was on fire, with flames higher than originally planned, because Michael was an asshole and made the pyro guys turn them up when cameras were rolling, he had to wing it when jumping off the roof. He missed a large part of the mat and broke a whole bunch of bones and ended up in the hospital for weeks, effectively ending his career. The icing on the cake was when Winner came to see him at the hospital with a journalist and photographers to document how considerate and worried he was over the stuntman's well being. When they were busy snapping pictures he leaned in and whispered in the stuntman's ear: "Don't you dare even think about suing me. You'll never get anywhere with that", then kept on smiling for the cameras.

The reason Death Wish 3 was set over just 2 blocks is that it was filmed in London in the mid 80's and there was a lack of Skyscrapers then

26:45 I feel like the writer was a gun nerd and this is his fantasy mary sue sequence where normal people are actually interested in his knowledge of weird, high powered handguns. It's also funny how he dismisses a .44 magnum, which is already overpowered against a human not wearing body armor. "No that's a pistol cartridge. This is a gun designed to kill a charging rhino. That's what we need against the creeps." Not to mention .475 Wildey ammo is like $3 a round, if you can even find it. No wonder he handloads his own ammo.

@9:20 Jay unwraps this dvd like a pro, unveiling Chuck Norris’ face like that, and then carefully not covering the face as he pulls the wrapper off. I think he missed his calling as a QVC presenter, or as a bimbo from Deal or No Deal.
@alias6138 жыл бұрын
Death Wish 3 seems to be a mix of Clockwork Orange and Warriors with one-fourth of the creativity. The Christmas Tree seems like an animated, Christmas version of Flowers in the Attic, and Invasion U.S.A. is just a more violent, poorly written Red Dawn. The real plot of that movie is that it is a sequel portraying a secret retaliation for the war-crimes committed in it's prequel, Canadian Bacon.

And because ive fallen so hard so fast, i feel the only thing appropriate is to go on the journey together with these fine folks at RLM I think im going to attempt something they should call... THE CHALLENGE OF THE WORST im going to attempt to watch every movie they pick or spin before each episode. So i can really dive in to the shlock
