There's an episode of Garth Marenghi where the main characters have multiple fights and car chases through mountains of cardboard boxes, to the point where there's a neat pyramid of them in a park, which are blatantly the same props from an earlier scene in a storage room, which they smash through with bikes. That HAD to have been inspired by Future Wars.

Fun fact I learned from a Turkish friend of mine. The reason why there's so many mustache's in White Fire is because at the time, a mustache was a popular signal of one's political beliefs in Turkey. Marxists had their own style, nationalists another, etc.

Future Wars and Time Chasers were the ones that MST3K did closest to the original release dates. The cast of Time Chasers had a party, when the episode came out, and ended up pretty salty about it... not Joe Don Baker levels of salty, though (he wanted to fight Joel).
