ThePatriots010304: There really are a lot of people like that who were screwed in highschool. Many small towns have names where their kids starts no matter what. I didn’t play QB In highschool because I was a WR (lead the whole wpial in WR) but the QB who did start was only starting because his name...we had way better QB’s than him but the coach was never going to take him out. So for every small town it probably has happened at least once where a back up could of drawn scouts and got a full ride. The town I’m in has had 3 pro football players come from our team in the past 10 years because they got a different coach who cares less what someone’s name is. The next town over (5 minutes away) has produced some nfl legends like Ty Law, Tony Dorsett and I know I’m forgetting someone. The next town up from there is where Mike Dicka went to school and played, plus right across the river is where Joe Namath played. We have had a lot of HOF’ers in my area.
