South Park doesn't go nearly as hard as they did before this recent wave of PC nonsense. Funny enough, they even saw it coming, but predicted it wouldn't last as long as it has. All of the most offensive episodes of South Park, including the ones that used the n and f words are all from older seasons. South Park left it's Golden Era after Season 16. I do still think they come up with pretty good episodes still from time to time, but they've lost that spark they had from Seasons 8 - 16 (3-7 are great, too) when they were firing on all cylinders.

What's great about this is that Jackie had no idea of the american context... "nèi ge" in mandarin can have different meanings based on context. You'll hear the phrase: nèi ge, nèi ge, nèi ge in mandarin movies and it can either be used as (like a stutter to express uh, uh, uh) or be used as a informal "excuse me" like excuse me, excuse me, excuse me.

“Ne ga” in Korean is something like “you” so that’s also rife with misunderstanding
@theminuteman7611

It literally means “that” or 那个. It’s used as a placeholder word when ur still thinking of what to say like “uh”. It can be weird for an English speaker to hear, but to Chinese people it’s as natural as breathing when ur speaking.

There's a great Eddie Murphy sketch back in the day about White Privelege and that always showed how we all got the seriousness and stupidity of it and could make fun of both sides of that dilemna or accusation even. They paint him to look white so he can see how white people treat each other or behave when black people are not around. The bus scene always cracks me up and the free paper!! 😂 I don't think that would get the same laugh nowadays either 😢

All american people owned the stereotypical "ching chong ping ling" joke from even before the world war just as they owned the people who would utter such things. To be fair, (Not including Jackie in the clip) Asians that moved to the States from the late 70's to early 90's adapted the black culture. A lot of us were placed in the hood and naturally that's how we grew up speaking. That's how all of us spoke in the hood and no body thought it was racist. In today's world, I can't speak like how I grew up. I'm also older now and use less slang.
