What is the most efficient boiler such as Burnham? Or? What I mean is should we go with LP gas out in the country or oil? I know that oil burns hotter so that helps save money so I’m trying to decide whether we should go with the oil or the LP or an electric? Anyone character comment and I’m wanting a system that will last for 25 or more years. And our home is EIFS stucco stick built in 2008. So it’s one story and pretty well insulated and 1650 sf. What size? We have Aluminum ducting and air handler Seer 18 heat pump now. Can we run Pex through the hvac plenum and drill small holes and sealed well and up through the registers to the cast iron radiators which we desire to purchase?

For steam the mega steam is the best for hydronic Buderus all the way

You gotta be kidding. All of those are re-designed old technology cast iron behemoths that hold the heat instead of transferring it into your home. If you want cast iron, go with Buderus. Otherwise, you’re better off with a steel boiler that transfers heat faster and more efficiently- such as Energy Kinetics or a simple New Yorker. My last steel boiler was over 60 years old still going strong.
