Hi John, I pulled the trigger and purchased a VSJ843 beginning of September 2017 and it's a whole lot better than any juicer I've used in the past. Thanks

John, you've also said in the NC900 NC800 video that the NC Omegas were the easiest and quickest to clean of any juicer. So which is it?
@protochris7 жыл бұрын
This doesn't show the most important advantage of the NC800 to the VSJ843; the clogging. Vertical juicers always need to be stopped multiple times in the juicing process for unclogging.

What are the rpms on each juicer?

It was interesting, but wanted to confirm whether there is any way to do frozen fruit ice creams in VSJ843

Hey John thanks for showcasing these machines. I have an Omega 8004 for about 4 years now and am looking to transition to a new machine and am considering one of these 2 machines you are showing. I want a good leafy green machine but I am leaning toward the vsj843 just to switch it up. vsg also seems to do somethings I can't do well in the 8004 such as almond milk. Keep the hits coming, thanks so much for your knowledge, time and presentations !

Keep the 8004 and then get the Omega VSJ843, they are perfect complements to one another.

In my opinion, if money is not an issue, I would recommend getting the green star pro instead of any horizontal juicer due to the fact that it will extract the most nutrients than any other juicer. Also, I think the Slowstar is the best vertical juicer with it's more powerful torque, high yield, most versatility, easy to clean, more bang for your buck and just happens to be the cheapest vertical juicer @ a little over $300 (@ $500 performance!). In addition, I would also likely get the Dynapro vacuum blender over the other upcoming vacuum blenders because of the extra manual pump that will allow you to suck out more air than others that likely won't include it. All of these products happen to be by tribest, and if you ask me, they are killing it right now with their offerings!

As I try to show, each juicer has their own set and pros and cons. While I do like the Green Star Pro due to its higher yield, and better nutrient juice, it does take longer to clean and use.

I was wondering what kitchen appliances besides juicers you recommend for a healthy food lifestyle change??
@discountjuicers7 жыл бұрын
After a Slow Juicer, I Would recommend a vacuum blender. The only one on the market at this time is the Dynapro. More are expected later this year. Here is my review on it: kzbin.info/www/bejne/o3TGmWCfnbt6bs0

Thank you so much, John! I wonder if they sell the NC900 HD SS in Australia.... and if the model # is the same? Would you know? I did a quick search and didn't see this model # available. I'd like to buy it, if it's available here.

Please contact your local Omega dealer in Australia for availability, I only service the USA

I emailed the Australian distributor and they said that they currently don't have the SS one, that it will be available next year... just in case you have other Australian viewers who are interested in buying one.

In your opinion what is the best juicer money can buy if you had no budget at all
@discountjuicers7 жыл бұрын
Depends on your specific needs. It may be the Commercial Santos 65 Cold Press Juicer, but I have not tested that model yet. Its a vertical juicer. That being said for most normal people, I would say the VSJ843 is the best juicer for me and my needs on the market at this time. Already made 3 different juices 2+ gallons today with it.

DiscountJuicers.com would the green star pro be the best for a guy that’s been juicing for a long time in does it every day I’m currently using and I’ve been using for a while and it works OK is tritest fruit star juicer and it works pretty good just a lot of pulp I was thinking about spending that $800 in purchasing the green star pro
@discountjuicers7 жыл бұрын
Provided you are cool with the cleaning on the Green Star Pro, it will be a great juicer. It also takes some time to use, as each piece of hard produce (carrots, beets, etc) must be pushed into the gear. On leafy greens they are literally sucked in. I recommend checking my video on that model kzbin.infosearch?query=green+star+pro for further information.

totally correct.... I have a 2006 and 2004 and its just like the one on the left.... soft fruits are problematic.... and yet wheatgrass is awesome in the same juicer.....

Hi John, I have a 1985 Champion juicer, it is still going strong. You sometime back did a review on the commercial Greenstar, I believe it is stainless steel . I'm very interested in purchasing that juicer . I prefer a machine that is a tank. The champion is not slow but I will use it for hard veggies I want a juicer that's flexible, I want to do wheatgrass,fruit,leafy greens ,nut butters and I want a machine that has some kapow! So far the pricey Commercial stainless steel GreenStar has my attention as a investment. I don't want to spend$400.00and 2years later something new comes along and is way improved.So how does the GreenStar stack against the juicers in this video. And John what do you think,is there something special that may suit my purpose better? Love ya John , I am a fan . I will buy from you however are you aware that Bed Bath and Beyond offers a 20% off coupon and they carry most Omegas and Tribest and GreenStar . Do you price match that deal ? Enjoying the videos John🌸🌸🌹🌹

Hi Debra, Each juicer has their own set of pros and cons. No Doubt about it the champion is a TANK. No other juicer on the market is as that much of a tank. That being said the Commercial Green Star Pro does have a full 15 year warranty, so that should bring some confidence in that machine. Please see kzbin.info/www/bejne/fai3npeAZdtjp9U for how the Green Star Pro compares to the NC800 Please see kzbin.info/www/bejne/pYKcY6Fjqd9oa8k for How the green star pro compares to the VSJ843 Please see kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJzGp2x4nt2hY9k for how the green star elite (same performance as pro) and the Champion 4000 Yes, we will match the "out the door" delivered pricing (including any sales tax) of BBB with 20% off. Please contact me at sales at discountjuicers.com with your specifics.

Has anyone ever tried making more savory/hard vegetable juices/cold soups without sweet fruits, like with carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, greens, garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, avocado, etc.? What type of machine is best for that?

Pulp takes up volume too
@omuleanu7 жыл бұрын
inside the nc800 juicing screen there are a few metal lines ("teeth") they are tiny bit higher than the rest of the surface, so I guess you could call it masticating juicer
@discountjuicers7 жыл бұрын
While that is correct, its nothing like the jagged teeth on the champion juicer. In general the Omega NC800 "crushes ,grinds andssqueezes" in my opinion.

So, John's opinion about the best slow juicer at the moment - Omega 843, right?
@discountjuicers7 жыл бұрын
Depends on the situation... but for me the VSJ843 is my favorite juicer for a number of reasons: Easy to Clean, High Yield, Faster to use.

John Kohler question what stopping the vitamix company from creating your own vacuum blender
@discountjuicers7 жыл бұрын
Nothing, I hope they do it soon. IMO if they come out with a vacuum blender, they will be "admiting" that "their technology" they sold for many years has been destroying nutrients! I personally think they are riding their "high horse" and currently sell on their name and reputatuation, because people hear "vitamix" and they think the best blender. Which IMO is not currently the case.

Change of subject, but this is your latest video, so this is where I will ask my VERY IMPORTANT question. Do you think Kuvings really has any intention of selling their vacuum blender in the United States? It was supposed to be out several months ago.
@discountjuicers7 жыл бұрын
Yes, they will. They have gotten European Electrical Approval to sell in Europe and other countries, but the certifying agency in the USA has delayed things. Last I heard, they will make it available in the USA in October/November.
