Very succint video. Thank you. Before Machievalli, there was Han Fei , a philosopher and politician of the Legalist school during the Warring States of the Zhou Dynasty in ancient China. Interesting parallels between Machievalli and Han Fei. Both agree with a pessimistic view of humanity - that humans are innately evil and selfish. I agree with this pessimistic view of humanity(I consider this not pessimistic , it's realistic). Both eschew idealism , especially political idealism - something I agree. Just me, a bloke with an opinion. 😊
