Normally COD Betas are poorly optimized, and they usually have downs in the FPS. I remember for the MWIII beta the frames were really poor and that was due to DLSS not working properly. Of course, once the full version was launched it was a different story. Hope it's the same here.

@@quello23 I give you guys a quick tip that worked for me: Nvidia Geforce Experience. Just click on "Optimize" and it runs super smooth. It lagged and stuttered for me, after I optimized it with one click it works like a charm.

my frames have been pretty good, if you have amd gpu i would recommend turning on FSR 3.0 really helps double or triple frames, im running a ryzen 7 5800x and 6600xt OC with 64gb ram getting around 350-400fps

@@societl what setting do you have fsr 3.0 on? I have a 7800x3d and 7900xtx and i get 200-250 fps with that off but it fluctuates a ton, not sure what setting to put it on tho

Quick tip: use unlimited fps and if u wanna cap it do it from the Nvidia control panel. Because capping in-game will give u less fps from the cap even if ur PC is capable of pushing more

@@DX_YT_01 Nope, Hardware Unboxed proved XeSS is still better even after 3.0, and that was on non-Intel cards. On Intel cards, it would be considerably better.

Why do you need to manually change the CPU core utilization? Shouldn’t the game automatically set it to the best option? Can changing this introduce new issues?

It depends. It’s more for advanced users who know how much a game is going to use their CPU. Mine was set to 9 automatically and I changed it to 7 but now im going back to 8. And that’s with an i7-12700K with the e-cores turned off, so it’s an overclocked 4.9Ghz, 8c/16t CPU at this point. When I had a 9700K which is 8c/8t cpu and it would automatically set it to 8 on the recent games and I would have to change it to 5. It won’t hurt as long as that’s all you are changing in the config files, I would just test different numbers, that’s how I do it. I tested the default (9) then tested 7 now im going to test 8. This game EATS up Vram like crazy so using more on the CPU isn’t bad.

@@Frosty_V0 Well, this game is supposed to he running on the same engine as Cold War and MW2019 and the last two cods I could use DLSS and hit 165-170fps with a 170 cap pretty stable no drops below like 155 and they were rare. This game im capping at 155 but dropping down to like 125 as my lowest with the same settings as MW3. BUT, when say, I change the thread count to 8 or 9, I will have a higher peak frame count, but it will jump around more often. But if I drop that down to 7, for some reason, it makes the frames more stable (even though on this beta they have been all over the place taking forever to smooth out during a match) but you won’t hit the same peak fps as you would when setting the thread count higher. You just gotta find where it’s most stable. And we aren’t talking a bunch of frames, it’s like a 3-5fps difference, so the stability is definitely what you want more.

Probably a storage issue, if you have a hdd or an old ssd it’ll have an issue

you can tell a person doesnt understand much about video game graphical settings when he puts anisotropic filtering on low. that setting costs nothing and you gain a bunch of fidelity from it.
