Thanks for watching! Do you prefer Govee or Asahom?

I have the Govee and really like them. Have you thought about converting your Govee to WLED? I have no experience with WLED but have read good things, and it would work with HA. I keep thinking about it but the unknown concerns me some.

I’m basically in the same boat. I’ve never explored it. I think “maybe I should,” but then, I just feel like that would be another rabbit hole that would eat up more hours than I currently have available.

Out of the two which do you think is brighter?
@JoshsSmartHome18 күн бұрын
I’d say the Govee and Asahom have a similar brightness. The Asahom might be slightly brighter, but the Govee has a few more lights so I’d say they are pretty even.

What was the distance from the wall that you installed the lights?
@JoshsSmartHome14 күн бұрын
I install the lights about 3 inches from the wall. I use a piece of cardboard that is about 3” as a template and hold that against the wall and put the light against it then press it up. It keeps everything consistent which is the most important part to get them looking good.

We need more than 250 feet coverage. But none of them come beyond 200 feet. What is the solution?
@JoshsSmartHome25 күн бұрын
We have almost 400 feet. We have 3 separate sets (non-pro), each with its own controller.

What about appeck pro outdoor light review?
@JoshsSmartHomeАй бұрын
I’ll have to consider them for a review. I’ve never seen them personally and they have a unique design compared to the ones I have reviewed, so I will have to withhold comment on them at this time.

@@JoshsSmartHome not many people have reviewed it looks like a good govee pro competitor brighter , cheaper, warm white color , cutable ,200ft

Yes it sounds like it would be an interesting product. I’ve installed at several houses at this point, so I’d have to figure out where to install these too.
