@@EggWhisperer is there any good research on whether high doses of gonadotropins effect egg quality? I have seen mixed studies.

My Dr is saying that these are ancient protocols that have been disproven in research. The long Lupron method is apparently not used that much anymore. Just curious why this is up here then if more recent research has disproven this method?

Hi Dr.Aimee! I would kindly ask for your advice. I'm 33, have done 4 iuis, 1 ivf cycle and still got no results. Out of 11 follicles, they retrieved 9oocytes, 7 of which were MII. The weird thing was that icsi was done on half and conventional ivf on the other half. None fertilized with icsi, 2 did naturally to be day 2 B and C embryos. Nothing on ice now. I will have to start another cycle from scratch. What would you recommend for us? My husband is 50 years old with normozoospermia, has a child from a previous marriage. Are we a bad match or could it be the oocytes were premature or I should look into the oocyte quality? My Amh was below 2 back in 2020. Thank you for any feedback / suggestion you could provide🙏

@@NG-ui9ou wishing you all of the best.... unfortunately we're still trying. We managed to freeze 4 embryos of which 2 has failed. Feeling very discouraged.

I found this channel is so informative. I had three miscarriages by the end of 8th week due to non development of yolk sac and fetal pole. I'm 38. My scans and harmones and normal. What is most suggestive so the chances of chromosomal abnormality decreases and I can carry a good pregnancy?
