I have the Monogram version and I thought remote pre-heating was silly at first, though we've had ours for the last 3 years and it's surprisingly useful. Especially combined with something like Google home devices and lazy people like me. For example when my wife and I are waking up but still have to brush our teeth, shower, etc and we have some left over pizza (which I always reheat in the oven on a baking stone for the best results) I ask her "Hey do you want leftover pizza when we get up", then I just say "Hey Google, Preheat the Mega oven to 400 degrees" (I call it the mega oven since this is the extra large oven on our 48" Monogram range). Now when we're done getting ready our oven is already preheated, throw the pizza in and 12 minutes later good to go. Same goes for thinking ahead on say a frozen pizza or if my wife expects to bake. Usually this doesn't happen when we're out of the house, though a few times we've done it coming back from the store bringing home something frozen to bake. It's a surprisingly useful feature.

I agree completely; I am looking at GE wall ovens, and their french door oven for my remodel if I can fit them. Thank you for the informative video. To me, GE has great service and just the right mix of features but without the huge price tag, AND they are available. I wish they would "try-out" more combinations, as this is the limiting factor for many. GE won't allow, for instance, allow the advantium speed oven to be under anything, even if it is 4" away because they haven't validated it. Logical combinations of their swing 30" door with the french door still aren't available. They cannot tell me if placing a swing door oven under the french door oven will be okay because they haven't tried it. These shortcomings aside, though, I think they too are a great buy for good ovens with self-clean, recipes and updates, and best of all nationwide service should you need it (though my last oven went 22 years before it finally died).

Agreed Lyndon. I’m still annoyed that the Profile Advantium still has the styling from their previous generation of ovens.

Nice review. I'm considering the Profile for a different property. During another YourTuber's review of his GE Profile 7000 model, the screen took almost 30 seconds to load. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience. BTE, I am one of those Miele oven owners that has never used the Master Chef features.

Glad it was helpful! I’ve had their displays lock up a few times here and there. I recently went to the trouble of connecting them to WiFi and downloaded the latest firmware. So far no issues!

This was useful. I had considered the LG studio double ($2880 during Black Friday), the Zline Autograph Double with Chrome ($2800) and this 9000 at $2700. Consumer Reports gave it a 5 (of 5) for baking; the others were Cafe's, Kitchen Aids and Monograms for at least $3500 (most nearly $5000). At $5000, somebody better come with the damned thing and do the baking for me. CR did not rate the Zline (although the 30" range graded out terribly), but the LG scored a 4 and sub 80 grade. This came up an 80. Also came up with one of the highest reliability rankings, and one of the least expensive within its category. The only downside I see here is that every other alternative in this class could be flush mounted to cabinetry, and that's an easy thing to give up. Getting the temp right and evenly for baking is critical.
