I used to drive 18 wheelers cross country. Cab overs are very uncomfortable to drive as you ride on top of the front wheel. Also, the driver is the first thing to arrive at the scene of an accident. Give me an engine in front for a better ride and I'd be happy. Earthroamer or the Zetros would fill the bill. Now all I have to do is win the lottery.

I noticed that every channel that shows an Earthroamer never mentions Unicat. And Unicat actually gives you a LOT more living space for less money. Seen some Earthroamers priced at a whopping $350-400K. That's waaaay toooooo much for what they give you. Some Unicats not only cost less but even have a hydraulic garage for an ATV in the back. I'm serious.

@@largol33t1 Yes, also my observation. There is simply no comparison - just watch a Unicat vehicle video. And the cost of an Earthroamer - a rip off, compared to a Unicat. Maybe no wonder that they declared bankcruoptcy in April this year.

@@frederikheymans Interesting, I need to look into that. Never knew they went into bankruptcy. I sometimes wonder if I would buy a lightly used Unicat if I ever win a small chunk of the lottery. I've seen used ones for sale and wow they are so strong that they still look new! I have seen one in a tiny town in Texas with Swiss license plates. I wonder how much it costs to ferry one of those across the Atlantic. It is MASSIVE. Standing next to it, the thing was about 10 feet tall. And trust me, those tires are just as huge and could definitely crawl over a small car like a MINI...

the price for the first one, brand new is about 500k ,but you can find plenty of them second hand almost new in Germany ,it seems to me the people that owns that type of vehicles ,get bored of them very fast , I wonder why ?, personally I don't like them , not for me , and about luxury ,that is not right , the inside is dull with a spartan decor , clinical , not a place where you may want to spent too much time , kind of depressing

Perhaps me think you might be pulling my leg just a bit. You sound a bit more interested in the outdoors than you let on in your first statement. Although I do have to agree with you on one point, these ultra expensive pieces of equipment are not for everyone. Way too pricey for my wallet. But then so are mansions.

The outdoors aren't about luxury and comfort, people go out in the woods to experience the rawness of the forests and enjoy nature in its truest form, so these expensive vehicles don't make sense. A person who really wants to experience the outdoors wouldn't be looking to buy a million dollar RV just to go park in the woods and still live like they are in a million dollar mansion. If people really buy such expensive RV's/campervans then they don't belong in the outdoors, they should rather sit in their Air-conditioned mansions and watch Netflix.

Just so you know, I'm 71 hard years old. Been camping in the outdoors for over 50 years. Been to Alaska, Montana, Utah, John Muir wilderness in California, hunted in Colorado in fall and winter, northeastern Cal in -20 degree weather, etc, etc. Almost always in a tent. I'm not able to carry 80 lbs on my back anymore . If I ever win the lottery something like this Will be in my garage. Why? Because I've broken my neck, lower back, both ankles, left knee, both arms and shoulders. And that's the short list . Have fun out there And enjoy your youth while you can. Believe me, it can be taken from you when you least expect it P . S. I'm 3 states shy of all 50.
