Mate you are so you. I love it! And being sensible at the same time. We have been at the Event Friday & Saturday and again today. I was chatting to someone yesterday and I mentioned your name to him and he said ... "We are hearing a lot about Seek Adventure!" I said to him the impact you have and your skill sets used wisey and harnessed will influence others on another level. I am sure one day (and hopefully soon) you will bear far greater fruit in the industry because of so many things you have going on for you. Here's the key reasons I went to the Event. My journey to "do this 4WD & Caravanning thing" was seeded October 2018 ... Doing this lifestyle was not on my radar and yet my wife's parents (93 & 97 years old) have been doing this for 30 years ... When we visited them in NSW October 2018 having sold their Pop Up Caravan and "doing normal", we saw how distraught they were. It got me thinking. Why has it hit them so hard? My wife and I old enough to be grey nomads but I did not want to do "the grey nomad" thing so I have been working on better reasons to be out and about this great country. Haven't even got a 4WD yet ... (a Great Wall) but hey ... well it goes!" At that same time we visited my sister-in-laws home in Kiama NSW and they have this "motor home thing" and I thought it must be a DNA thing ... and when you showed this map book thing CAMPS 10 and she explained how they use it to do their grey nomad thing my creative juices started to flow. "Hmmm maybe there is something in this lifestyle!" Fast forward 10 November 2019 - My sister-in-law and husband turned up here in Perth in August on the motor home thing and I have been working on running our company from our caravan, visit areas and be of support to them, and enjoy the grey nomad thing all in one. To date a snippet of our vision and reason WHY we will invest the time, energy and money to join the 1,000's who have been, are doing and like us will do what you are doing with our own USP (unique selling proposition). We went to one of Ronny Dahl's event and it dawned on me. He, just like you had to start somewhere and so many unprecedented things began to take shape. One of his team Wayne reached out to him and now they are doing it well. I had a chat with Graham Weber of Track Care WA and what they do helps me create a BIGGER WHY getting into doing this would be of value to the droves who are attracted to this lifestyle ... This is what rocks my boat. I am fascinated by their core objectives: 1. To facilitate sustainable programs of management and protection of vehicular tracks in Western Australia, particularly those of Indigenous and European significance. 2. To assist in providing educational programs for all track users. 3. To promote sustainable conservation of the natural environment. 4. To promote responsible four wheel driving as a legitimate recreational activity. 5. To liaise with land management authorities and other interested parties with similar objectives. 6. To assist in the protection and restoration of buildings of significant heritage and historical importance. 7. The property and income of the Association shall be applied solely toward the promotion of the objects or purposes of the Association and no part of that property or income may be paid or otherwise distributed, directly or indirectly, to members of the Association, except in good faith in the promotion of those objects or purposes. Michael - Here's a thought. We have 10 grandchildren and we would like this great country to be a place they can enjoy because of what people such as yourself brings to the table. I've pigged out on video's and video's etc and you stand out as someone who is unique, real and a genuine influence to people from all walks of life. Up for a coffee one day ... please let me know. Chris

We love exhibitions and shows... where else you can see new inventions and gears.. Some people have already everything, that’s fine to us, others still need some bits an pieces to complete their camping stuff. As well not everyone can be in the same spot.. so to say. Have a nice time on the show and others on the beach spots. Cheers from 8000k away.

Just have to figure out how to have a continuous 4wd and adventure show going. It'll keep the roads and sites clear.
@ottoswinebar5 жыл бұрын
I can’t understand how they can have 2x4wd/camping shows within 4 weeks of each other 🤦♂️ One in Mandurah, then one in Perth. And, run by the same people. More money in selling booths at an empty oval, than selling and using all the gear I think.
