I have had a Comfort Built stove now for 3 heating seasons!! It is in the basement of our 1500Sq/ft home!! so far it works like a champ very impressed with it and highly recommend it!! should be #1 in IMHO Cheers 🙂

Incorrect info on #5 makes me not trust anything said about the other stoves. Having a thermometer on the stove does not turn it into an auto temp adjusting thermostat. All of the heat controls are manual and there are a total of three! air control adjustments to accomplish this. The ONLY thing manual is the gravity feed for the pellets.

Pellet stoves burn very cleanly and produce very little soot. Pellet stoves do not need to be cleaned as often as wood stoves, but you do still have to clean them periodically depending how often you use them and if the air intake and chimney are correctly installed. Generally soot doesn't build up on the glass until it's been run for a long time, but it will eventually need to be cleaned.

And what happens when the 'smart' , chip, or motherboard goes bad? Get a replacement from the factory? Ha ha ha, throw the whole thing out and buy a new one of course, how else are we supposed to make money?
