Best Personal Loans For Consolidating Debt & Credit Cards in the USA in 2025

so im shopping around looking for a good personal loan. My credit card (my only card through my credit union) bill is so high right now & im drenched in bills im lookin for a personal loan for around $9-10k you think navy fed would be a good choice? my score drop from 750>722 😢

Navy Federal is a great lender. When you are consolidating debt, make sure the new loan has an APR that is at least 2-3 percentage points lower than the debt it will be replacing. If you can't get that, you would probably be better off just paying the debt in place. Your credit score is still high enough to find a good debt consolidation loan. The only thing that might limit you is insufficient income or a high debt-to-income ratio. Whatever you do, shop around! Make sure you're getting the best deal that you can. @ okay & thanks for the response I searched today for a good loan lender I found a credit union (Texas bay credit union) that specializes personal loans with low apr & flexible terms! im going to check them out today once off work. my balance ($10k) 😵‍💫 im going to see if im eligible for atleast 7k that'll put me back on track at 30% usage. im moving to a new apt soon and i didnt want to apply for any cards or loans at all until i actually moved cause i was afraid of my score dropping even more but I really need the extra cash too
