Well, I have a Bulletpoint mount for my Jeep Gladiator and had one in my Ram 3500, both were great because you just removed the rubber mat and used existing screws, no drilling nonsense. Bulletpoint isn't getting my money for my Maverick, that's for sure. This is a joke compared to the other vehicles I have put these in.

This kit should come with replacement clips or instead of nuts and bolts should use oem style plastic rivets so that removal of the tray isn’t necessary

Also wonder if maybe alittle locktite would be helpful to keep it from working loose on the mounts

I think this is a cool looking mount. I'll be totally honest, I didn't watch through all the unboxing, so I'm curious if there's a way to only have one of the holders installed. I think I would only ever really use one, and I think having a second one is kind of an eyesore if you're never going to use it. Is that an option with this specific product?

Yes. They sell different mounts, brackets etc... I shoot real estate videos from my truck and use that to shoot landscape in the middle.

From a safety point of view, reducing the line of sight out the front windshield could be problematic with seeing pedestrians. Especially small pedestrians . Moving the phone holder to the little cubby next to the touch screen would greatly increase the drivers field of view. A field of view is one of the main determining factors when a pedestrian is struck. Keeping yourself off the stand answering questions to a lawyer or parent is priceless. Hope this helps …..

If you sat in a maverick you’d realize the dash is quite low. Even with the phone mount the phone mount only impedes your view of the hood

View is excellent... I noticed I held my phone way lower than my actual eyeline. That said, if I need to adjust, the ball joints allow for a ton of flexibility. Great observation, thank you for pointing that out.

The Mav's rear view mirror is so low in any position it obstructs so much. If i had phones or tablets hanging in the middle of the dash, I wouldnt be able to see any one on the right at a four way stop or sharp turn. Not thrilled about this mod.

Wow a lot of your commenters seem to be paranoid safety nannies. This is a cool mount and makes use of that useless spot behind the screen. Thanks for the install video. I'm going to use mine to mount a GoPro when I take the Maverick out on trails.

you should of used 3M tape its easy and no holes to that sweet truck...

Only issue I've noticed with the 3m tape on other type holders is when it gets hot it loosens up. I have tried different ones and it's been an issue. Granted not really wanting to drill either but I could buy an extra cubby to replace back I'm thinking

It's a replaceable part. No biggie.

It actually has double sided tape on the bottom of the base.
