I imported a pico 4, and i like it more than Quest 3. The low binocular overlap of the Q3 feels like a major oversight.

In my opinion connecting the quest to a USB port is slower than a direct to display port connection. I get more frames per seconds with direct to display port.

It was great timing from Varjo to get out of the market for consumer VR headsets. They simply cannot compete with Pimax.

Can't compete in what regard? Its also always a bad thing if a company decides to ditch the consumer market for VR so this was a huge loss.

I have the Quest and Pico 4 and I do prefer the Pico 4 for my PCVR gaming especially the FOV and color. QUest has a vibrant color but I feel like it is too saturated in some games especially the ones I play. Pico 4 also works perfectly with VD

Same, also the weight distribution makes the Pico significantly more comfortable.

Haven't encountered a headset that would win it from my Pico4 and Quest3. They are both great headsets. Quest a lot for stand alone and PCVR, Pico4 mainly PCVR, all connected wireless with Virtual Desktop.

I on the other hand adore tethered VR headsets... the cable bothered me the first week, but now I don't even think about it anymore. (I probably developed unconscious strategies to navigate around it) The increase in image quality is really why I am having a hard time going wireless.

@@PixelShade Amazing. For the majority of players it's the opposite case. I've read so many complaints about malfunctioning cable connections in diverse Facebook groups, hardly any about wireless setups. But mostly USB connections. Maybe display ports are another thing. In my situation I have my router less than two meters away from my headset. It has mostly a very high bitrate. Good that we have options, right?

Loving the quest 3 for the money. Extra power from a battery strap and a cable to keep it charging while playing. Yes I can see some offer better quality but I cannot see the value in ugarede at this point. I will let the fomo die down then look at pimax and 3njoy the quest 3 as it excellent as an all round product and love using virtual desktop.

In europe the big sreen beyond is 1369 euro and another 149 euros for the audio strap....the quest 3 512 gb is 699 with asgards wrath 2 and 6 months of subscription to meta + another 80 euros for bobo vr m3 pro; the cristal light will be around 1000 euros with taxes. Meta is selling a lot of quest 3, the more they sell the better will be their customer service, if you buy something few people buy then the customer service may be lacking, in any case i want a good allrounder so my choice is done

Your forgetting one thing Meta is absolutely horrendous with there customer support, they already the number one in the Vr Headset market yet they have one of the worse support out there

Thanks for all your videos. They are very informative on VR headsets. I have one of the alternatives for right now which is the Quest 3. I do SIM racing and have it connected via USB link cable. All my racing games run very good and the visual clarity and FOV are good and adequate for my racing. The Sweet Spot is very good and entire lens looks very good to see details while racing. I am still learning the Quest 3 so I don't know everything yet. My previous VR headset was and is the Rift S (backup headset) which has a lower Resolution but it connects to the Display Port of the RTX-3080-TI GFX card. Both headsets I can run in Oculus VR mode which the newer racing games provide in STEAM. Take care.

​@@virtuallyreal I dont think getting pico neo 3 link or any other VR headset currently for PCVR is feasible when crystal lights launch is right around the corner, except if one wants wireless PCVR or something cheaper. Very excited to see how it performs, i hope that %30 reduction in weight will make it comfortable in head for long term sessions.

@@wolveslands6701 big difference in weight and cost between the two though. Both have Display port connections which is all that really matters if looking for high quality PCVR visuals, the n3L will outshine quest 3 and Pico 4 godlike settings for example purely because of the display port.
