Hi Todd, I am going backwards in time here, Ha, ha, 😋. The pure energy of the river, people and surrounds, I am a seal, I would go up that river 50 kms plus, and float swim dream my way back down, Ha, It has always been, that the Earth attracts peoples to a location, not the other way around, 🤗 Indigenous everything! keep on going, learning and sharing about all peoples of this mighty Mother Earth we are born on. 🖐.

As a little first grader, I played & fished by the Nam Lik River, a bit south of Kasi (I don't know where exactly this particular stretch of the Nam Lik it is, here, that they've turned it into a resort like this)... back in 1975.... before we took off in the middle of the night, riding a taxi north on High Way 13, toward the Mekong River, to get to Thailand...

Im tellin ya bud, the Thai side of the mekong has bugger all like this - they could learn a whole lot about proper getaway breaks. I reckon its time when your back in Oz to start thinking about doing an ebook that lists these places by province/area - it would be a travellers best seller mate just like that guy who did all of Thailand on a Honda Dream - his ebooks are brill. Anyways, another tip top vlog of this fab country.

Very nice relaxing place on the river banks. And cheaply priced too. Would love to visit. Are there locks for each cabin when leaving for the day? Also hard to believe only 1 bath-shower for all those cabins? ?

Yes, they can be locked. Not all the cabins are run by the same operator. We recently tried across the river and each cabin had its own bathroom/toilet behind it 👌

that is so crazy how much this place changed in 2 1/2 years. I have been there in Nov 2019 and there was only one big house to rent. One year later they had two more houses and all these floating houses I think they build during corona times. Since I have been there I am 100% sure that Muang Fuang will be the next Vang Vieng. Seems like it will be much better ^^ lets wait what will happen when all the young and drunk farangs will go there^^ if someone would like to check out how this place looked at the beginning - there is a video on my account with a house and property tour.

Hi, can anyone explain why the river looks so dark? Is it clean enough to drink? Thanks
@lostinasia36857 ай бұрын
The river is fairy clean, but I would not drink the water now that the place has become so popular. The water is dark because its 3-4 meters deep, when in the shallow area's the water is very clear.

Each state in America has their own laws on liquor store sales. Some you can only buy at a liquor store with the state flag on it. our state has drive thru liquor sales but not in markets. Each state has its own control of laws. Nice wood house, I fell in love with the wood work and cravings. I could spend my life enjoying a place like that for sure. Neenee I give you two thumbs up on your choice of picking this lovely place. Todd my man, you seem to be picking on your wife a little much, this woman loves you more than anything, I wish I had a wife that loved and respected me, plus waited on me and helped me out with everything. Your wife is an amazing woman and you should be proud to have such a lovely one at that. Very nice area and your right about being the kind of place when you were a kid on a family trip. This is way more nicer and the people way more kind and friendly. I really enjoyed this video and look forward to the next one. God bless and spread the word for many blessings.
