Best Places for Photography in Buenos Aires

On this episode I searched out the best places for photography in Buenos Aires. I had a full 4 days worth of photo-taking opportunities in the city and took full advantage. Obviously, some of top things to do in Buenos Aires revolve around capturing cool images of the interesting architecture, art, and street life. My search for the best things to photograph in Buenos Aires took me to 4 different locations. I photographed La Boca, Plaza de Mayo, La Recoleta Cemetery, and Puerto Madero.
Obviously, there are a lot of great things to do in Buenos Aires, but finding the best locations to photograph isn't all that hard. That being said, even though I found some really cool places in the city, you'd really need a week to do and see everything there is Buenos Aires.
Anyways, my time in Argentina has been awesome and my short stay in Buenos Aires capped it all off.
So, I want to know, have you shot photography in Buenos Aires? If so, what were your favourite places too shoot?

Another great video and great photography amigo! It's great to see your camera settings in this one :-) . Do you use an app for scouting the light? Sun Surveyor works pretty well. I guess you need to stock up on ND filters!

Philip Vignola Thanks! Yup, I use one from time to time called the Photographer's Ephemeris. It's fantastic! Yes, When I get home I'm going to re-haul my entire filter kit.

Very nice video and photos. Unfortunately, here in Argentina es very difficult to find photography equipment. And if you find it the prices are ridiculous. So, what we do is waiting for someone to travel to another country or buy online with the shipping charge (which is no cheap).

Andy_Curtis28 Yeah, Buenos Aires is a fun city to photograph. Like I mentioned in the video, I wasn't blown away by it the first time. But this time was great!

I wish I could answer that better. I've never had an issue. But, people have definitely been concerned for me with my gear.

Lots of police presence now. I talked to one policeman and he said they'd watch out for me. And they did until I left. I've shot La Boca twice in the dark now, and I've never had anything close to a problem.

Oh okay. I was scared even when I went to the bus station. You used public transportation? I'm 20 year old girl, sorry if i ask a lot, it's just that i don't wanna get robbed :( Are you still in Argentina?

Faride Salazar you can use public transport you wont die, just be careful and try not to show off in some places haha

I've had 3 attempts to relieve me of my camera gear - in broad daylight. The tactic was to squirt some horrible smelly stuff on to you; another person then appears who helps you to clear up the mess with tissues; they spin you around and wipe with tissues and try to disorientate you, hoping that, in the confusion, you put your bag down and somebody else comes along to pick it up. I nearly fell for it first time; 2nd and 3rd times I was ready! I still love Buenos Aires though!
