it really depends - somewhere tropical NO, anywhere else its ok but no backpack is more comfortable (i now bike with a backpack on the rear rack which i can wear on tough trails or big descends if i want to )

I’ve got to say that you totally have inspired me to make it happen. I leave on the 16th of August. Good luck on your travels. Great movies you make, seen them all! I hope you can also film a little more from some of your camping places. Like when your cooking, fire(sometimes you film it) but this is very essential part of a trip and makes it more whole. Like you did in your first video, when you woke up on a mountain in the winter and climbed out of your tent with the sun shining. If you then did some cooking inside the tent while watching the sun, that'l be awsome. Don't think we've seen any of the food you eat, except burgers :D And of course the sequences should be short. 10 seconds or something. i walked back a little, then sand a song as i slowly went past (riding with one hand and the other with the bear spray, safety off). Bear was at the same spot when i was returning in the dark so that was a lot scarier but he ran off into the bushes right away and i made it back safely.

for the parts I had it, it went on the rear rack of the bike, or strapped to the handlebars. it's very light, just 2kg
