For truly great bacalaitos try "El Boricua" in Piñones. If Manny Pagan says "Raices" is great I bet he can eat anything. Don't accept his advise, You'll be sorry.

Well Manny, we went to racies just like you recommended. It totally sucked! The greasy , tasteless bacalaitos we're mielda. My wife is Puerto Rican and has cooked them, so I know what they should taste like.

I'm so sorry, this is a place where tourists go. You want to eat some real authentic Puerto Rican food you need to go where the locals go. There are so many places just ask the locals. Trust me they don't go to these overpriced tourist spots. We like to go to places that remind us of our grandma's home cooking food. Sorry to bust your bubble.

@@MannyPagantravel not that this place is bad, it's just not a place that I would recommend to any of my friends or family. Especially if you're a local, they don't come close to mom's cooking if you know what I mean.

You can’t send a tourist to moms house but you could send them here and they will enjoy the food because it is good 👍
