Thanks to the West Rail Line that started operations in 2003, the Yuen Long neighbourhood in Hong Kong's western New Territories has developed to a mini metropolis where old and new exist side by side.
Restaurants that have operated in the area for decades have become a major draw for Hongkongers and tourists alike.
Food writer and stylist Gloria Chung Wing-han, herself a long-time Yuen Long resident and foodie, brought the South China Morning Post along for a culinary tour of the area.
