The problem with Griffintown is that it is a constant construction site. There's dust everywhere and constant noise from all of the jackhammers and building going on. It'll be a lovely place when it's more settled.

It would be nice if you could do one short video about Old Montreal area, what the prices are like there, what kind of people live there and what the community is like.😀 Thanks. :)

@@Livinginmontreal That's awesome, thanks 👍 looking forward to the videos and who knows, if we decide to leave Toronto and start a new life in Montreal, we'll need an agent 😉

@@MM-qv5lfold montreal doesn’t have much services. Especially grocery stores. Nice area. Good vibe although touristy. Montreal always find the way to open cool restaurants and cafes so Old Mtl remains a nice place for locals. Right next to booming griffintown, and well deserved by subways. I like old Montreal, but I prefer less touristy areas, like Mile End, Little Italy, Verdun near wellington street (upcoming place, Hochelaga (although very poor and its sometimes showing), Villeray and, further away, NDG or Masson street. I live in the Plateau… way overprices (I bought decades ago…).

@@dcorman2350 Thanks for sharing, appreciate all the feedback. I would move to Montreal in an instant but unfortunately without French, I think it would be a bit hard when it comes to employment. :( Love the city though, it's absolutely amazing!

@@MM-qv5lfnobody needs to speak French, unless your customer facing at walmart. Would be great if you can learn, to enjoy the full experience (I lived in Japan… speaking the vasic opened so many doirs to great experience).

What is the relative better areas to live on the West Island or A40 and A20 heading west of Montréal? Merci 😊
@123-n2l8 ай бұрын
A20 because you skip all of the a40 traffic. The south west side of Montreal has more highways to access

So griffintown is a bunch of high rise rentals with some coffee shops and restos. How is it different from other Burroughs
@Livinginmontreal Жыл бұрын
Imo + feedback from clients, higher density brings liveliness to the area. Also “walk to the office” or “bike to the office” is waaay more common for those living there and working downtown. Thank you for watching 🫶🏻

@@Livinginmontreal still not seeing anything special to griffintown. Honest question though what makes it different? Or are these general things uncommon in Canada so it makes it special that way. Thanks again for clarifying
@Livinginmontreal Жыл бұрын
Naturally, what makes a place special is how much the place meets your needs and expectations. Most of the feedback of the happiest experiences i’ve heard come from clients that know what they want and are flexible enough to try living in places that might match most of their lifestyle. Plus Montreal is such an “easy commute” place, that should there be something that you need that is not available walking distance, you can have relatively easy access on the island :)

Can a $450,000 to $550,000 price range get you into a two bedroom or one plus den condo in Griffintown? If not, where closer to downtown can we find something in that price range?
