@@Morelifediaries and I followed you family to here from your interview on another channel (Life with Louie or?), wonder how do you think on kids education in Mexico? I have no worry your kids can become fully fluent in Spanish, but how about their English education, other than practicing English in school and with parents, would you have concerns they might become “weak” in English after years if comparing US/Canada same aged kids? for us we visited PV and other parts of Mexico together with kids, we like all the life there, but still cannot commit to live there full time, English education is still a major concern, what are your thoughts in the long term, have you talked about kids education before, or can be a topic in future podcast?
@Morelifediaries13 күн бұрын
Thank you for subscribing here :) Yes I believe we have spoken briefly about schooling a few times in the past but nothing in Detail. There are a number of private english schools here (British, American). Personally for us our kids are younger and our current priority is their Spanish however we supplement their school work with english work textbooks and overall speak english at home. My oldest is already speaking great Spanish and is very good in french and our youngest understands a lot of Spanish and speaks spanglish lol I don't foresee them having any issues with languages.
@tommy-gx6vb12 күн бұрын
@@Morelifediaries yeah, I do notice your kids are still young in pre-school ages? and you family are in PV there for only 1 or 2 years? language weakness might only be a concern after years after they become older to later elementary grades? families with young kids aren’t common among the Mexico expats community because most others are retirees no concerns of kids 🙂 and another family youtuber, who I subscribed and who also lived in PV before, moved back to Chicago recently because of financial reasons too high costs of living, especially they mentioned some numbers like the English school in PV can be as high as 1000 USD per month per child, add up total costs of living be higher than their past in Chicago, as USA Canada at least can have some good and free public schools, free community libraries resources for children books, etc. But Mexico has nothing free English education, or if I’m wrong, I would like to hear your thoughts in a future episode. Thanks 🙏 😊
@tommy-gx6vb12 күн бұрын
Wish you family All good!👍All my point is I would like to move my family to PV (or another costal place), for kids can have better Spanish fluency, but still kids should have good English education, for savings in cost of living might pay back in English educations there, if comparing good and free public schools in US Canada? There aren’t many family youtubers talking about kids education in Mexico, so hope your channel may have an episode in future about education topic, might tour a school, interview someone there teachers or a principal, afterschool activities places, etc. Wish you family All good!👍

Mismaloya grill is great for sunsets, and the best place on that beach is the most northern end. Calmest and cleanist

Thanks for that tidbit 💕 We're spending a week here in February as our base camp. Is the Northern end bring your own chairs? It is a slim beach, but I thought it the most picturesque. With transport easily accessible, I'm happy to be a boat ride away from anything ❤ but there will be days to spend right there. Sand fleas are not my friend!
@Morelifediaries13 күн бұрын
@@ladydiane1811 Your week here will be magical - that I can guarantee. All chairs available on the beach will be for hire unless it's at your hotel otherwise I would suggest bringing your own. Take the bus up and down the coast if needed it's very cheap and easy to navigate.

Hi great helpful videos If you were just coming for 2 weeks , which towns /areas are recommended for quieter beaches that are swimmable
@Morelifediaries5 күн бұрын
THank you :) Litibu or Careyeros near Punta de Mita are great. Our favourite near town is Playa Conchas Chinas. They are all swimmable but nearing and during the full moon they all have aggressive waves.

@josealcala582 I know that. But it doesn't change that fact that the boat traffic is annoying. Not the best spot for a relaxing beach holiday.
@josealcala58213 күн бұрын
@georgedodwell1721 it was always a fishing village before it became a holiday destination. I know because we always go and hire a fishing boat for sport fishing on our holiday vacations.

Thank you :) It is definitely not enforced - I can't recall ever seeing police presents on the beach here!
