This is one of the nba's system I don't like: They only consider the 1st half of the season on selecting nba all-star rosters but not considering the 2nd half of the season especially the playoffs which is more pressure. That's why I like suggesting to have an nba all-star selection after the nba finals. Examples are Jimmy Butler & Jamal Murray: they are both did not become part of nba all-star roster last year even though they outshined other players(who become part of that nba all-star roster) last playoffs & made it to nba finals. The worst part here is most of the nba all-stars last year did not even made it to playoffs(like Doncic, Lillard, Derozan, Siakam, SGA, Markannen etc.). If someone will say it's because they have a great stats last season, well I disagree(in advance) because we play basketball to win. Also, it is easier to have a great stats if you always have the ball but the question here is: Are they really efficient & are they winning when they always have the ball?

@@adriansmith2295 Hali has more wins than Trae, even before the Siakam trade. Hali is leading the league in assists rn and is averaging 2.4 turnovers per game while Trae has 4.3 per game. There’s a reason Hali is an AS starter this year while Trae was only an injury replacement.
@adriansmith2295
@adriansmith2295 8 ай бұрын
@@ieverhart Listen brother first off to use Hali's position in the conf. is ridiculous and holds no real weight or 100% proven evidence as for that being a reason for a person's skill because at the end of the day bball is a 5 man team and we all know Hali's cast is on a real higher level than Trae's.. Secondly as for assists although Trae may not be leading the league in avg. he's still right there in 2nd but one thing that goes unnoiticed is he's leading the league in TOTAL assists which together when paired with his assists avg in the game you would look at him as the MORE elite assist master ntm he's a higher scorer and thus a BETTER playmaker, a better scorer at a much more higher of a margin too... Another fun fact for you is his defense has improved and made strides this year, that part of his game really stepped up and in fact : he's 7th in the league in steals, and draws more charges than Hali..turnovers may be one thing yes but believe me that stat sure aint no huge deal because it's not overly compromising the masterclass basketball that he does.. ntm he's 6th in double-doubles avg. actually above Luka and Hali just below Gobert, and there's many more I can go on and tell you, but I'll wait for you to try if you can and find something somewhere to dig up smh lol 🤦🏽‍♂

The fact that a guy like Trae Young was even on the "cusp" of All Star status this season means there is an active "Arms Race" in the NBA. There are so many "superweapons" available, even a megaton bomb like Trae almost didn't make the cut. Watch Trae, then roll the clock back in your brain a decade or so and look at the All Star rosters. At least half of those on each side you'd swap out for Trae without even thinking about it.

Man there's definitely an agenda. They want the high dollar teams like Boston and both LA teams to get all the shine. Hawks owner don't spend money so we'll need to depend on jaylen Johnson to develop. All the good teams owners don't mind paying luxury tax to get several great players. Hawks owners save money and sign mid NBA players.
