Bugout hands down, slightly expensive but the warranty on Benchmade knives is absolutely amazing. I carry a bugout in my bag and a utx 85 at most scouting events. Most troop leaders don't like otfs but the gtss has no rules against it also if the bugout is too expensive then the Kershaw leek is a great second option.

Awesome video! But I gotta tell you. I am completely in love with the CRKT Squid. I cannot believe how awesome this knife is. I am a huge SAK fan, but the Squid is the best non-SAK pocket knife I've ever had in my hand. I love this thing! As a woman with slightly smaller hands, it fits me so well. Four finger grip, I can flip this thing like nobody's business! Definitely my vote for best knife under $75. I do agree, though, that the Rat 2 is pretty sweet!

For welding, maybe a leatherman skeletool...I am a mechanic, I carry that, a spyderco tenacious with serration or an esee izula 2. That little esee can take a beating, but will rust of you do not wipe it down.

I have a multi tool that is hands down the best multi tool I have EVER OWNED! I found in a pawn shop. Paid $4.00! Name..... Renegade. It is TRULY one handed operation! It seems to be made for fishing. You can grab it with one hand and sling outward and deploy the pliers! Presumably for getting a hook out of a fish mouth. I carry this on a daily basis along with a Moraknive, and switch out between a Spyderco Resilience and SOG Flash II Tanto blade. All great knives for under that $75.00 price mark! Keep up the good work guys, love the info you give. You do all the research so we don’t have to.

Okay, only since you asked. I carry 4 knives all the time. I only wear Tru-spec pants or Tru-spec shorts. Each pant or shorts have a dedicated knife pocket next to the front hands pockets on both sides. A spring assisted Tac-Force EMT flipper on my right side knife pocket, CRKT Hissatsu spring assisted thumb folder on my left side knife pocket. Car keys right front hand pocket with a Victorinox classic, and on my house keys in my left front hand pocket a Victorinox Farmer. When I'm hunting or camping, I might add to my belt a Buck 119, Buck 103 Skinner fixed blades or change up the folding knives with a Ken Onion field strip Skinner, one hand opening buck folder/Skinner with gut hook & saw, a Buck Open Season with 5 different exchangeable blades, a Buck 110 folder, or a Schrade folder. Guess it depends of the mood I'm in on which one I want to take with me. Lol

I carry at minimum two knives on the daily and I often find myself with 3 or 4. I’ve been a Boy Scout all my life and you truly never know when you’re gonna need a knife till you need it. And carrying extra is a failsafe if your primary knife breaks you aren’t screwed. I’m ambidextrous so I like always having one in reach of either hand. Front right pocket, back left pocket, sometimes front left, and I’ve always got one in my inner vest pocket. I carry my fixed blades often as well. I like to spread the love to all my knives.

I have just recently started carrying a Spyderco Tenacious as my primary knife and a Gerber Centerdrive as a multitool for EDC... I also carry a Coast G20 inspection penlight! It's a solid and very multi-faceted setup! Loving it so far! The full screwdriver on the Centerdrive is my main reason for having it. The stubby flip out screwdrivers on lots of multitools get rounded or used hard and eventually become a useless stub, so being able to change out the tips and having storage for a spare is amazing!

I've carried mine everyday since I recieved it, no tarnishing, zero dulling in my day to day use. It absolutely wrecks bubble packs. M4 is incredible, easy to put on a ceramic rod and just a few passes, hair popping.

I carry 3 knives. A 2 dollar plastic folding Sheffield utility knife for the nasty crap to reduce knife sharpening (back right pocket), a medium sized knife (currently a bugout inside front right pocket ) for almost all other tasks, and a large blade for cutting bread and possibly but hopefully never self defence (Cold Steel broken skull or Spiderco manix 2 cliped on/in right pocket which is sometimes replaced by a usually high end but always purely enjoyable knife like a big old Kizer meat cleave or a microtech utx 85).

Mini Sheepdog all day long. Perfect size, razor sharp and perfectly centered blade out of the box. Flips like it's on bearings, because it is. G10 handles. And just looks like a mini butcher blade. What's not to love? Never leave home without it. Before the Sheepdog I bought a ZT 0560 and found myself looking at it and saying 'do I really need to carry this big a** knife right now". Lol.

Bought the Boker Plus LRF with Cocobolo handles recently. What a sweet gentleman's EDC. Smooth action and great blade shape. So slim it almost disappears in your pocket, but it has a deep carry pocket clip if you want to use it. It is a lot of quality for a reasonable price.

My EDC is a Kershaw Shuffle. Small enough to slip in any pocket and blade deep enough to not feel like a toy. Plus I use the bottle opener all the time. Great value knife.

I carry 3 knives, technically one is a multitool. I carry a Buck 110, a Cold Steel Finn Wolf and a Leatherman Rebar. Just in case. The Finn Wolf is a loaner knife (in case someone needs a knife real quick) because it's cheap and really strong. The Leatherman because you never know and the Buck because I just love how sharp I can get it

as a 19 year old college student and a welder farm hand and art student I find myself always carrying a knife or two, my two main edcs are a griptilian and a Freek those are 100% of the time in my pocket unless I am carrying one of the fixed blades I have made and usually my surge and my swiss army, not sure of the model but I use and abuse all of them and I carry my ancient beater grip when I and doing fabrication and mechanic work and the Freek when I am not around oil and chemicals Benchmade all the way and my surge is always on me or in the console of my truck

The Polestar looks like a decent deal considering the steel involved. I have no hands-on with BD1, but it looks like it will hold up to use -- the important factor for me in that size and that price point.

Old vid I know, but I typically carry an EDC sized knife in my front right pocket, a larger heavier duty blade in my back left pocket, a backup mid-sized knife in my belt pouch (Maxpedition TC-3), a Leatherman Rebar in the pouch, and a Gerber Dime on my keychain, and occasionally a small fun fidget flipper knife (I absolutely love the small San Ren Mu Windrunner series knives to play with). So at least four bladed instruments on me at all times, sometimes 5.

I have just large hands, as in large size in gloves. I can fit just about most knife sizes, but I prefer larger blades just because they are awesome, lol. I prefer 3.5" on the small side to 4" blades. I won't carry less than 3.5" for my main right hand pocket folder, but some knives if they are just that good will go in my left hand pocket under 3.5". Right now I have the Civivi Chronic in my left pocket just because it is such a great sharp pointy little knife. Awesome action, like the perfect detent. It's so snappy.

Anza mini swat in micarta on the belt, OKC RAT 1 D2 in the pocket, and a Tingtio utility knife in the left rear pocket next to my streamlight, and a SOG multitool with a single straight edge blade on the belt... that's about it for work. out of work, I carry that anza mini swat and either the rat 1 d2 or the bladehq special Kershaw cryo g10 d2.. with the sog and streamlight

D2 is a cop out, it’s the new 8cr13mov. At the $75 price many companies are pushing the brink of using M390 or S30/35. Sure D2 is a better steel than 8cr but you better be ready to give up your evening sharpening it!

In my pockets, I always have my Gerber Fastball (used to carry a benchmade arcane), and a Leatherman free t4. On my keys I have a s.o.g. back lock key knife, and a Leatherman Micra. In my edc backpack I always have, Spyderco Tenacious, Leatherman Wave, and a Benchmade 15016 (skinner). Sometimes I like to swap the Fastball with a medium Honey Badger in D2, or a spyderco Delica 2. I really want a carbon fiber 940-1 in the rotation! Someday....someday...

I always have a backpack with usually 4 blades. Recently I’ve been carrying Mini Kalash in s30v, a launch 4, steel will modus and a resilience for bigger tasks. Sometimes a fixed blade just in case I need something even heavier. I always have my pm2 (gotta love those Lynch clips) on persons with one auto. I usually carry 1-3 knives. I always carry my fixed blade PAL RH 34 on my belt on my right side. When carrying more than the PAL I carry a traditional style Case in my left pocket and 1 of my several knives with a pocket clip in my right pocket. I usually keep a multi tool in the car.

I carry between 4 and 5 blades depending on how you count. Native 5 lightweight, cadet, a beater razor knife (for removing insulation at work) and my Leatherman rebar. The Leatherman and the razor blade live in my tool bag until needed but if I'm at work, they are there.

The pocketsquare looks so good. Unfortunately it has no grip so I have cut my self pretty bad on it a couple of times. Thr crkt m16 03s is a nice upgrade, much better steel too.
