I picked up a Vision R in the Damasteel! ..at first it felt awkward because of its unusual design…but part of the fun of this knife is getting into "it’s groove". Once I did, 😊 it is now one of my favorites FOR its splendid uniqueness!

Awesome list. With so many contenders even getting to 25 is hard. From this list, for me, it's the We Big Banter. A bit like Goldilocks, the first Banter was a bit small so I passed and waited; the second was even smaller with lower spec materials so I passed and waited; then the Big Banter came and it was just right! Sharp blades all.

How about if you takeoff the scales and spray them with a clear coat maybe that would change the texture on the scales and brighten them up to. I’m not sure how to work with Apoxsee but maybe that’s an idea also.

I got the timascus/carbon fiber Dromos and it didn't have the same problem with the inlays as yours did. I was sorry to see that when you got yours. I still appreciated your honesty when it was an issue. Great video and excellent lineup for the year 👌Got a few myself on there🤘

Definitely love my F22 and am a big fan of the Kickstop and ended up getting chavez 229 for that reason. I’m actually shocked that not a single quiet carry made it on this list 😮. I’m patiently waiting for them to restock the drift L with the knurled handle. Might have to get the nine in magnacut to hold me over till then lol 💸💸

I usually only buy on a folder a year bc I usually spend over a few hundred on one so I want to use it as much as possible and I don’t have a job like you dealing with knives unfortunately or I’d have a huge collection 😂 but I got like 500 bucks saved up to the side for a new knife but my biggest problem is that there are so damn many awesome knives out there that look amazing and function great and it makes it hard to just buy one haha. I really like the f22 kick stop, but I’ve been looking at arcane design as well and their Bowie style folder that looks like a beast.

I would agree with you. It is a bonus though, it’s never been something I’ve noticed until I got the 20.5, I’ve got the carbon fiber and 3v so I don’t know if they are all like that but I do notice the sound it makes compared to my other knives and I like it.

Can we get a campaign going to push companies into properly doing their plunge grinds for sharpening. The slogan can be “take the practical plunge” and you should be the spear head of it! I cannot see any practicality in a scooped/sloped plunge grind all the way to the edge and especially when it meets up with the stop pin. To me they should all be either 90° like spyderco uses or leave a decent amount flat before starting the slope.

Man, that rockwall is so disappointing. I had a monkeyedge exclusive in magnacut but sold it after a few warranty qc issues, and ultimately, the deciding factor is the edge retention on such a low hrc. I've heard you alsaynfor a while they were supposed to bring up their hrc but I'm calling b.s. and I'm upset about that, too. They keep drooping different variants althea all black dlc and recently the nexus variant both with garbage hrc still. I would've pulled the trigger on either of them had they raised their hrc, but it looses the fine edge almost immediately, and seriously whats the point in a knife of that size if it won't hold a fine edge. It's not like your gonna baton it and imo that's the only thing magnacut with that low of an hrc is good for. Idk man your great, Your content is awesome, but that claim about raising up their hrc is sus.
