Hey thanks! yea these things are pretty handy.....I probably use mine more at home than I do outside of home, just because its more convenient than always plugging it into a wall. Love Colorado!!

How long does it take to charge using the crank?
@jessiesdroneadventures74642 ай бұрын
Well, it's not meant to be fully charged to using the crank, but i imagine it would probably take about a week consistently rotating th crank throughout the day. But if it were an emergency situation and you needed power, rotating the crank even for a few minutes would get you a decent charge for a phone

I really, really wanted this to work.

I have a solar power bank, but it’s a cheaper version of this without the built in chords and hand crank generator. Still works great though! Really looking forward to using it to charge my stuff on the go, especially my drone and drone remote

Eh, it might charge it, but i I'm not sure you'd get a whole lot of power out of it

solar would take approx 1-2 months from 0-100% to charge allowing for 12 hours sun a day. Max sun at 12 hours a day = 39 days assuming the power bank is real 45800mAh. This is because the solar panel will be rated between 3 and 5 watts with up-to 25% efficiency so reality says about 1w to the battery on sunny day.

Can you use more than one input at the same time without blowing the battery?

Couldn't tell ya, but I wouldn't chance it

Good video and an interesting product. You are correct about how long it will take to charge it.and that is a little misleading as far as the manufacturer'. A 45ah battery will take about 45 hrs to charge with this sized panel so its not going to recharge overnight. But that's not how this is intended. You leave home with it fully charged and then you and charge your phone in the field .. which only takes a portion of its capacity THEN you set the power bank in the sun and it will top off the charge in a day in the sun. If you don't fully recharge it in the sun before you use it again you still have enough charge left in the bank to recharge a phone maybe 8-10 times or to power other items. This would be perfect for camping if you know you are going to be home to charge it before it runs out of charge OR in a power outage situation where the power comes back on within a few days. What would be even better is if this charger can take an input from an additional larger, folding solar panel on one of it's inputs.. They may have an adapter cord or a person can make one.

thank you! most solar power bank companies advertise it like it charges super quick with solar, which just isnt the case. you nailed it too, solar is good to keep it topped off, or even in emergency situations. but its not the best to use 100% of the time.

They have one, I just am about to purchase it for ~90$ a 30 W folding solar panel bundled with this device.

How long does it take to fully charge using the solar power Option
@jessiesdroneadventures74644 ай бұрын
Probably about 180 hours in direct sunlight
@gustavoorduno9424 ай бұрын
If the solar panel ain’t the main source you should buy it for then why not just buy a regular power bank .? I took mine camping and the solar panel was worth less .
@jessiesdroneadventures74644 ай бұрын
you gotta watch out for the brand. Some solar panels are worthless, but I like to buy them to test them out, still makes for a good "backup" way to charge it in desperate times
