Just a tip! If cutting dark hair on video it will be helpful to use a light cape so its more clear for the viewer to see the difference after cutting sections.

I am a stay at home dad for our seventeen-year-old son, who has C3 hair. I am Caucasian (pale and Danish 😉), my wife is Kenyan (Black first-generation American), which makes our son "half/half," but boy oh boy does he have great looking hair (when we stay on-top of things 😅)! However, I got really sick these past three weaks, not able to keep things down (due to a break down of my abdomen, because I lost my abdominal wall from Cancer four-years-ago), and my wife (who is a HR Director) has been stuck doing late evenings and is exhausted, so I am proudly on hair duties (que the sawn of man music)! Anyways, been watching your videos for a bit, and I will say, this one is really helpful today, so thank you so very much 😊. I just got done with the comb-out and secrioned before watching your video, now I know how to "clean-up" his ends, since it has been awhile doing his hair, so sadly we got some split ends tontake care of 😅. I have so much curl shrinkage and breakage at the nape of my neck. I try to give extra love (and conditioner) to the nape and wear half up/half down vs ponytails but I still have so much breakage and frizz there. The disconnect between my nape level of hair and the next is about 4” (when dry). It makes it so hard to get length on my hair! Any tips are welcome!!

I don't see any difference, or maybe even it looks for frizzy after than before :(

The frizz is definitely coming from the fact that she has to handle the hair and not style it while she’s cutting. Curly hair will always look frizzy after it’s been handled, but you can see at the end of the video that after it’s been hydrated and styled, her curls look stronger and healthier than before without sacrificing her length! 😊

Interesting, but leaving out all the shorter pieces never eliminates the breakage there. Would have liked to see how to trim all the hair lengths so that it stays healthy & not splitting up.

This is a helpful tutorial for me so I can cut my 11 and 17 year Olds hair my 11 year Olds hair is like this but the curls are a bit tighter. She repeated her self way too many times though way too much talking idk how many times I heard her talk about cutting the curls where they live 😂 I will admit that's the mistake I did make a few times on my daughter's hair I would stretch out the curls and cut them instead of letting it shrink back first so her hair was so much shorter when I just trimmed about a half an inch off the dead ends and pieces I thought were longer than the rest it was a big mistake and it is definitely true a small amount will make a huge difference

You can tell she doesn't know what she's talking about or what she's doing by the way she keeps repeating herself. She sounds extremely unsure of herself and doesn't really have confidence to do what she's trying to do 🥴 smh BEST way to cut CURLY not KINKY 👀 textured hair us WET! IDC IDC IDC!! I personally cut my own hair wet and the best curly cuts I've seen are done WET! Best kinky textured hair cuts I've seen are done BLOW DRIED not just dry in its natural state smh she don't know what she's doing.
