Because lots of players have reached a staggering amount of international games relative to the time period that they played football in as well as playing into the latter years in strong leagues and these players are considered rightly to be great great players however to be considered one of the best of all time do you have to have been absolutely exceptional not just in quantity or quality but on the impact of your position and the magnitude of the revolution which you brought to a club or a football league or a national team. It’s a bit similar how they have been probably five or six great goalkeepers in our lifetime but realistically only Manuel Neuer Gianluigi Buffon Iker Cassius and of course cech Can’t be in that conversation of some of the greatest goalkeepers of all time and other players which immense such as of lack and Courtois will forever be in the bracket just below that

However Sterling deserved better, which is why he moved to Chelsea where he could get guaranteed playing time. Grealish is simply not good enough to have much better at another big club, therefore he has chosen to stay in that precarious position where he could well fall out of favor; he has nowhere else to go.
