The 3.7-4.0 Shermans are useless against it. I always found it funny how the M4A2 (76) W is at 5.3, and this thing is at 4.7.

@@leeham6230 That's because, and I just read into this yesterday, German players actually seem to think the stabilizer has any value. It doesn't when every one of my stabilized shots bounces off your impenetrable armor anyway. And they genuinely think having a .50 caliber machine gun helps in 99% of situations. Again, not really in all but the most miniscule of situations. I would take the KV-1C over a M4A2 with it's decent 76.2mm gun any day, any time. I can play my German tanks and do well with them far, far, far more easily than any other nation. The German tanks need a BR raise, many of them are absolutely under tiered by a significant margin right now. It totally blows my mind people think the Panther and Tiger should be at 5.3 with the fucking mediocre armed Jumbo with 75 gun. One side has armor that can bounce anything and kill almost any tank without precise aiming. The other has armor that can bounce anything and requires pin point aiming on most targets. Totally fucking even fight, lol.

This tank got a strange nerf, the machinegun port was reduced to 35mm. All other KV-1 tanks have 45mm or no machinegun port. This might not seem like much but it means your standard Russian 76mm can easy pin and destroy this tank from the front.

Front of the turret seems to be the main weakspot, just around the gun. The volumetric does make it a bit more difficult though. Haven't played it in a while but that's what I remember from when I did.

I've almost completely stopped playing war thunder lately. 4/5 games are a full uptier no matter what nation or br I play. It also gets really old having to carry the team. I just want to have fun and meme around, but if I do we lose because half the team dies and leave the match before ever getting a kill.

ive had this thing for only 2 days now, got it during the sale, and ill say this, it was 100% worth the 800ge, the guns probably the best at its tier, easily goes through plenty of things at its BR, and its surprisingly fast, armour is super nice, turret cheeks seem to bounce things they shouldn't, only downside is its main threats, which are m6a1s with their long 76 and any tank destroyer that knows where to aim if its ever on sale again, and gaijin dose not mess around with its br or anything else, i would pick it up, sale or not, makes plenty of SL and RP, and is super enjoyable at really any BR that it gets taken into

As someone has already said, this tank suffers big time in uptiers at 5.3 and 5.7. At higher tiers armour doesn’t matter so much. Tigers and Panthers demolish it. Your gun is used on Pz IV F2 at 3.7.

@@aidansetias5591 It is often in uptiers at 5.3 and 5.7 and facing Tigers and Panthers. Tiger H1 is 5.3. Tiger E is 5.7. Panther D is 5.7. This is Ground Arcade mode. Ground Realistic is same but Panther D is actually 5.3. Panther A is 5.7 in both modes.
