My go-to t-shirt is the Gildan 64000. It’s really soft and has a more roomy fit. The 5000s get a lot of bad press for quality (which I think you agree with, from your bulk-buy comment). I was selling B&C 3001s, but they have a more slim cut and are not as soft/substantial as the 64000s. I also think that the 3001s have a less flattering cut for women. Agreed that Comfort Colors needs to be a part of one’s offerings, and the colors are awesome.

Just an FYI, as a Canadian myself....most of the time shipping from the US to Canada is cheaper than actually shipping within Canada. Any orders from Canada I've received, it was more expensive to switch to a Canadian Print Provider so I ended up sticking with my US provider and shipping from there. Our shipping rates within our country here are astronomical.

Heather, yes I did make it to the end of this video. I just found your videos yesterday through EverBee, and plan to have them all watched by tonight. My question is about breakage. I had a shop on Etsy several years back selling handmade pottery. I was enjoying it until one $89 bowl got broken in shipping. My customer even took a video of opening it to show that it was completely crushed. I immediately gave her a refund. Then started the process of trying to get the post office or Etsy to refund my money. First of all the post office never refunds the cost of their service, only the cost of goods, and then they said they sent it to my customer after about 2 months of debate. Needless to say the customer never received a cent from them. After the trouble of trying to get a refund from the post office (many phone calls to their 800 numbers plus trips back and forth to my local office) I finally gave up, accepted the approx. $100 loss, and closed my shop. In this case if an item is broken, who is responsible for the refund to the customer, and dealing with the post office? Would it be the shipper (Printify) or would it be on me? Do you know how it all works? If the customer pays shipping separately from the cost of the product then how does it all work with Etsy? Have you made any videos on refunds? Thanks for your time. I hope I have made myself clear. Eva

Chambray...I sell the comfort color t-shirts but not the sweatshirts yet though (but may do so in the future). I also sell mugs but I don't use district photo anymore since they messed up 2 of my customers' mugs (misprint). I hope they have improved in their quality and check before sending out bad prints. I switched to spoke custom products and even though they are higher in price, their prints are better. I might consider selling the glass sipper tumbler but it's hard to compete on price with other etsy sellers though.

I’m so glad you pronounce it the way you do. It sounds soothing as opposed to Sham-bray with a hard a. I am such a grammar freak, but am not bothered by your pronunciations. A lot of people, I can’t even watch their videos because they just butcher so many words. -Although I did hear an Ex-specially in there.. 😊🤣😉 I used to watch the “get a dictionary” guy - don’t remember his name, but he’s hilarious pointing out grammar mistakes people make. Thanks so much for this Heather. I was wondering why you don't include Etsy ads or sales in your profit calendar. The problem I'm having is that I don't have Printify Premium because I'm not selling enough yet so I'm paying more. When I'm figuring out pricing in the calculator I add in a 20% sale that I always run and 13% for Etsy Ads, so my prices sometimes are really high. Do you have any suggestions on how to be competitive? Thanks again!

I took all my printify options down because I wasn't aware i had to pay them to make the product first before it ships out to customers. I'd say this model doesn't work if you are starting off with 0 dollars. Maybe I'll try and make some cheaper items on printify instead of shirts.
