One should not forget Ruby for backend web programming (he mentions it later, but not at the beginning). Node.js and Go are also interesting. Pearl is deprecated, but still a thing.

Telusko Learnings this list info about php,java etc is little bit outdated. There is a thing called MVC frameworks which can build large scale enterprise with huge data. You need to learn oop whether its php or any oop supported language. In web world mastering javascript alone is good choice you can do both client side and server side like MEAN stack. For android or standalone softwares JAVA, C/C++, C# is best. My list for 2017 -- Javascript(nodejs, react or angularjs), PHP,(laravel, zend), Ruby(ruby on rails) python(django), c#(mvc), java(struds) etc. and of course HTML, CSS and NoSQl or sql

HTML and CSS are not programming languages. jQuery is a library, written in and for JavaScript ES5. Angular.js is a framework written in and for JavaScript ES5. Both jQuery and Angular.js a bit deprecated. One should rather learn JavaScript ES5 and ES6 and after this Angular 4 or React.js or Vue.js.

Java for android is however not the same Java as for computers, only the basic structure is there, otherwise the commands used are android specific plus android use another type of VM meaning that write once run anywhere and platform independency does not work for Android with Java. Instead you have to write the code specifically for android from scratch using Android studio. You can not take a general java program and run on an android mobile as an app. However many game engines like Unity and Unreal can make this work and export to both mobile and pc platforms using the same project and scripts. For this to work however however you need Android studio and Xcode(plus apples developer licence and fees) installed, these tools are not included in the engines themselves but the engines can make use of them once these tools are installed solving the portability issue for mobiles as well

After working with Java, PHP and Python and their ecosystem frameworks....I would like to point out that PHP can also build stable, secure and scalable applications using good frameworks like Laravel.....its awesome to develop...pho is very flexible and one can write bad codes and still get it working and there's the problem....If one writes good code its awesome...

Many errors in your video. 1 - No, the only option available for making android apps is not Java, you can make android apps with C++ many years ago, and recently you can use Kotlin too. 2 - No, jQuery is not an essential part of frontend development, you can use other frameworks or libraries, also you can write pure javascript code and that's ok. 3 - No, PHP it's not for "small sites", MailChimp a company that handles more than 500 millions of request per day uses PHP and don't have any issue. 4 - "PHP is not scalable, not secure, blah, blah, blah", not arguments for supporting your theory, a simple gossip. You don't look like a serious professional.

But as project moves on it has to handle more data,something like Linkedin or Facebook. i think java is best one to go for if you are considering data engineering track. it is in high demand right now.. to work with data processing pipelines. requires good knowledge of streaming techs like kafka and google pub/sub. both require java. same for apache beam. if you are working with big data, java comes handy. in big data engineering world, python is treated as second class citizen. only data scientists love python .. but really how many of real data scientists do we have? very few. real requirement is of data engineers and you just need to learn java in and out. you would atleast need 2 years of solid hands on with this language to command higher salaries. rest all depends upon your tenacity and IQ. real world applicatoin dev programming is tough !

if you want to hear my suggestions i would say yes! I programmed a hybrid App with Ionic Framework once and also a native Cross Plattform App with Xamarin, development with Xamarin was less pain in the ass in long term. In my upcoming projects i will also use xamarin most. I am building Inhouse Enterprise Apps.

The name of the language is Objective-C not "Objective C".

But java lacks in some areas... Asyncronous threads in node framework (javascript) Java stores each thread in stack which compromises performance whereas javascript uses only one thread for one process and never remains idle ... 2nd area where java lacks is 3d game development.. as you all may know unity only supports c# and javascript as a script ... But that doesnt mean that java is a flop... Java is in bussiness since 1995 whereas anyother language instead of java would become obslete in this long period.. java is adapted by some big big companies .in my opinion java is a blue whale and c# is sharks (why sharks because microsoft is a bigger company than oracle and it is keeping there language alive by force .for example xamarin is a tool in which you can create cross platform apps written in C# but xamarin requires money whenever you want to compile your app)
