Man, when I’m at my best I can maybe average like 64. The level these guys are at is just unreal. Like I’ve thrown a 12 darter a few times. Then the next game is like 28 darts. The fact these guys just crank out 12, 13, 14 darters one after the other is just fuckin brilliant. People don’t realize how insanely difficult that is.

Great match by both... This era of dart is just different. Proven by the fact that even these two great players can lose at any moment in a first round. I know MVG isn't as great as he was but let's stop comparing this era to other decades. The overall level is so much higher. MVG still did do amazing in a league format being the premier league.

MVG is obviously not firing on all cylinders atm, this past year doesn’t agree with him, I think he loves full crowds etc to feed the adrenaline, but… it is the same for all the players.

Wird nicht passieren. Die Konkurrenz ist mittlerweile zu gut. Zudem respektiert den auch keiner mehr, oder anders gesagt, niemand "fürchtet" sich mehr davor gegen die Fettbacke zu spielen. Das sah vor 3-4 Jahren noch etwas anders aus. Aber mir es soll es absolut recht sein so wie es jetzt ist. Und auch die ganze Dart-Welt ist froh darüber.
