Hi there Steven! I just got a similar head unit for my Jeep but I think they have rebranded to Eonon. It's very cool because now they offer units made for specific vehicles without the need of special wiring harness. It does run on android 4.2.2 as well. Has this been a reliable unit for you, considering that you have had it for several months now? Have you experience any major lags, crashes, bugs, or performance issues? BTW, the model that I got for my Jeep is GA5177 from Eonon. I will receive it soon, can't wait...! lol Yeah I am worst than a little kid! hahaha

Hi Steven, as I understand from the video, you are from Austria. I am from Prague, so you can answer my question better, than all the sellers at chines stores. I want to know, if the radio is supporting to read the RDS signal, and show on the display not only the frequency, but also name of the station (some stations are placing also the actually played song...). This is the only reason I am still waiting for their upgrade (or maybe they don't know it, and so don't use it in China?). Have a lot of fun with the radio, enjoy the life. I'm about to buy a unit, and still have a few questions that I hope you´d like to help me with since you have the experience... Questions: * Can you please tell a bit about the "hot buttons" on the side of the screen, how they are used and what is your opinion about the layout? Unfortunately they are not so much mentioned in your video... *I see on the Autopumpkin web page that they have different models with the same and with different buttons then on the unit you display. - and for sure want to pick a model with the best layout. (And your experience is much worth in this case..) * Do you have any experience about the reverse camera? If you have, can you please write a few lines about it? Does the camera have "guides" when you put in the reverse? * Did you have to cut your dash up to fit it in your car, like people here say they have to? You are better getting a Steering Wheel Box adaptor, some let you program the butons on your PC before installing in the car. Other models you can program when it is inside your car before you screw everything back together. Better then trying to get the cables to fit to the factory OEM connector.

Would be nice if they also sold you the box to connect Ford vehicles with My Sync Steering Wheel buttons to these head units. The ones out there today are confusing to read specs on and most are almost as much as a new stereo and only one company I know of makes a Stereo Kit for Ford vehicles but the LED color does not match the cars dash. I want to keep my SYNC controls and be able to use the Voice button to wake up my phone for saying commands like OK GOOGLE.

I just rooted my same unit with baidu root apk, I enabled full screen for all my apps looks and works amazing I just wish it had shutdown delay, and quicker boot time

fanless heatsinks. Android doesnt need cpu´s which drain much power like on windows CE. It doesnt get really hot, massive cooling blocks.

Sound quality is decent. not many equalizer options, but I think it sounds good. for the price plus being android you can't go wrong.

yes but most dont have android or are extremly expensive with android. then the heat dissipation isnt good and some tend do overheat. and also the angle of the screen would be shit in my car (cupholders, ventilation..) :(

I doubt this works with steering wheel controls because in the USA we have to buy an Adaptor box from companies like iData Meastro in order for our steering wheel controls to work on NON Oem head Units.

About the radio, you said it has to be connected to a powered antenna? I've a 93 MX-5, would I need a powered antenna to get radio reception??? I actually have one of these however, when I plug my Ipod classic in the only way that the unit recognizes the songs is via the Ipod naming (usually cryptic combo of letters and numbers) and it wont recognize it otherwise, Anyone else having this problem and or have any solutions?

i got mine last year from ebay for 170 aud with free reverse camera and so far no problem yet with the unit til now. its all in, including the gps. i live in sydney and the pre installed maps were updated im surprised. i can also listen to the music from my note edge via bluetooth and make calls.

Hello, I have the same unit in my Qashqai bought from czt_motor on eBay and at first test it whent down after a few days, all power was gone and the unit was dead, so I try to contact the seller but suddenly he was rejected by eBay and so I had to found out what was wrong, after examinating the unit I found that it was a bad connection on the main board, I repaired it and now the unit is working fine, all is ok except for the 3G network connection, I can't find a mobile network setting on the menu!! under the wifi menu there's only a VPN and Hotspot setting and I need an APN setting to have 3G mobile data!! Is there someone who has an answer for my problem? I would be greatful with a proper solution, thanks in advance
