Ok well wait...i mean yeah that would suck, for sure. But pain? I mean, no offense, but you're a fan of Washington State...losing is something you should absolutely be used to, especially losing in dramatic fashion, such as what occurred in this game. There is even a well-known phrase for just such an outcome: "Coug'd it." If you lose games like this so often that there is even a term for it that is very specific to your team, that means losing is just in your DNA. You're like Alabama, except the exact opposite...anyway, sorry about your luck. Coug on, I guess 🤷

@@reggiesmith4132I mean all you need at that point is a field goal to win it. No use running another play that could potentially turn it over. @@reggiesmith4132 A pass play is the dumbest thing you could possibly do in this situation. The whole idea of the air raid offense is to spread out the field and target gaps in coverage. it's hilarious to me that ppl in the comments are wondering "where's the defense"? First of all, college football here was peak imo but that's a conversation for another topic. Secondly, this was also during a time where defense in CFB was king; in particular most teams were able to stop the air attack due to the passing volume of QB's at the time. Thirdly, Mike Leach (RIP) was just a flat out offensive genius. this, imo was when a shift in the air attack began, the spread.
