I will be setting up a 10900k direct die cooling build. I already got the ram for it! Just with my 9700k, 3080, and 2x8gb vipers I was able to set my timings to what you typed out and bam I got 20-30 extra frames… WITH MY 9700k. Not even on my new build yet. I can only imagine my new build… this is gonna be insane.

If any one is contemplating a consult from this goat I highly recommend pulling the trigger my computers running top notch after he did my overclocks and tweaked my settings. Was having one small issue with my ram speed and he so promptly corrected it and had me back In tip top shape

Ryzen 9 5900x G Skill Trident Z Neo cl14 3600mhz 4x8gb with a 120mm fan pointing right at the modules. Cl14-14-14-28-42-4-6 tfaw 16 trfc 260 scl’2 cr 1 @ 1.50 52ns volts never goes above 28c with a 4070 TI Super.

i have an 4000mhz cl15 16 16 36 Ram kit who runs only stabel with 2 ram's 16 GB 3k resolution screen but it runs only maximum stutterfree in every game with the maximum possible voltage i could set in the UEFI which is 1.575 voltage enything else is out of the box xmp 2, it never reach more then 65 C degrees under full load wich is very impressive.

great.... can somebody tell me whats the highest voltage for gskill 3600 cl 16? im working on the magical border of 4000mhz for ryzen and dont want more 1.5v on the ddr4 sticks works stable win10 many fans+ 360 freezer 5800x msi b550 unify 4x16gb 3600 cl16 3666/1833 12-13-13-13-32 1.40v 3733/1867 12-13-13-13-32 1.42v 3800/1900 14-13-13-13-32 1.46v 3866/1900 15-15-15-15-34 1.48v 3900/1800 16-16-16-16-35 1.50v think sweetspot is 3666mhz....but i want to test the 4000mhz.

I got my 4000mhz to work at 1.35 18-22-22-42, i9 11900 clocked to 5.3 2 core 51 across. Would it be worth it to try tightening timings with a smidge more voltage?

I got 32gb T Create Expert 10L Bdie ddr4 3600 (OC’d to 3733) C14-14-14-28 at 1.57v and my PC runs better with all cores at 5.1 cache 4.7 at 1.47v

My Vipers on Z490 Carbon +10900KF does 4133MHz 16-17-17-36 @ 1.5v. Have fans everywhere except the ram. It survived 11 hours of Prime95 Very Large FFTs (5120-10240 KB) not a single error.

@@EasyIsHere dual channel is both 4 sticks and 2 sticks. It just means there's at least 1 stick per channel. 4 sticks on Zen 2 is probably not great. I'd recommend upgrading the CPU tbh. You'd get a big boost by getting something like a 12600k.

@@slapchip5042 well between my memory tuning to 4600 mhz 16-17-17 and all custom timings and my 5.4 ghz overclock I gained a ton of fps. 3090 overclocked to 2205 mhz. Holds over 2160-2175 mhz in game depending on ambient temps.

every time people ask stuff about motherboards on your channel they always want to buy an asus board or already have one lol, i can't believe asus tricked so many people into thinking that asus boards are any good. even the z590 apex can't overclock well enough and that shit is supposed to do that. i can run 2x16 dual rank trident z kits with better 4500 on the z490 dark and the apex couldn't even do that with 2x8's lmao

Yeah but asus boards have ppd setting in bios. Afaik the dark cant set ppd=0. That setting alone will reduce latency a lot. Maybe you can get a modded bios for it, but no promises

I have 4266 c16 on a gskill one 2x16 with asus apex motherboard 10900k 5.3/5.0 and 3090 msi ventus im flying. It crashes me on any benchmark like cinebench but for real life never crashes.

32 gb 3600 CL 13 with i9 11900k

10900k 5.2 OC cooled by a kraken AIO with 2 front fans 32GB DDR4 3600 c14 14-15-15-35 1.45v (just xmp) 3090 FE +100 Core +1000 memory. I cannot average more than 150 fps with lows of around 90-100 playing at 1440p. Is this my ideal scenario with playing at a higher res? Running the in game mw2 benchmark i get 99% gpu bottleneck. Just wanted to point that out too. This system lives in a nzxt h510 elite case which I know isnt the best for airflow but my cpu hovers around 62-65 while gaming and my gpu at full load sits around 72-75c. Should I pay for a consult? Is there anything else I could tune in my system to get a fps boost?

i have gskill 4400 1.5v xmp profile. case is stuffed with 140mm fans and one 120 at the back, slowly revving. case doesn't have front mesh. ram doesn't melt. what i'm doing wrong lol
