From hearing you say in early videos that it’d be cool to see another Gritty Soldier to being recognized a few times; that’s raaaaad. I literally threw this on mid ruck in the suck; rain and cold; and hearing his antidote “nobody cares; work harder” is nice. That’s exactly what I needed! Thanks dudes! “My leeeeeeegs…”

The more things change, the best stay the same. If you see my lunch out there from 93-94, send it back to me. THAT tank trail run is one of the best wind-builders that you can ever get. I miss Bragg for stuff like that. I'll vouch for that rope climbing. Don't puss out, and get it. You get up there, lose your form, then you're cursing your mom for giving you birth, when you pull a shoulder. USE THE LEGS, that's why you have them!

@@GrittySoldier would love to see it! I'm active duty now. Always struggle cause I like the variety from constantly varied and full body work, but I also feel that volume in a specific movement pattern (push, Pull, sqt, lunge) is important too. Kind of like the idea of dedicate a session one thing and you will build that better than doing everything a little bit, where ur not getting a lot of work on anything?

My goal for this year is to go to Air Assault school. However, I'm not really high speed with pt like that. If you can remember starting from the bottom, do you have any tips on training myself up to that level?
@GrittySoldier2 жыл бұрын
Yea definitely. You’ll want to focus hard on running, rucking and calisthenics. Calisthenics mainly for the obstacle course and the smoke sessions. You don’t want to go to air assault in less than great shape, because then the smoke sessions interfere with you studying throughout the day, and the ability to retain information. If your in good shape, they won’t be a big deal, and will just hep walk you up! 👍 We have an Air Assault fitness program for prep as well: grittysoldier.com/collections/fitness-programs/products/air-assault-prep
