One important difference between these patterns is the depth of pocket. The NP is super shallow. Which is how it gots its name. NP is No Pocket. Really useful for me and SS where quick transfers are critical. At third you want a deeper pocket so you don’t risk loosing any balls as you grab them, and that’s where the TT excels. The 200 was intended for all around usage as a utility player at any infield position, and depending on the size variant, sometimes in outfield.

Good vid. Can you put a pad on the table next time? It might reduce some of the clanking.

My kid is playing 10 you right now and will be moving to 12 U comp in the spring. Mostly playing second base and a little bit of shortstop, would you recommend the 200 or the NP?
@JustinWinn34Ай бұрын
For 10-12u, a 204 might be a bit big now but could well last into high school

Your gloves made of ceramic? They look like rocks and on that table they sound like boulders. Nice vid tho. Is the 31 very similar to the 200?

Lol I fixed the audio problem starting with my how I break in my baseball gloves. Also the 31 pattern has a similar close and similar feel just a tad different

Is the Rawlings 205 the same glove as the 204? Besides the fact that 205 is a 11.75. Thank you

What size np pattern do you use

11.5
@Jags_9042 жыл бұрын
@@JustinWinn34 I was thinking about going with the np4 also. Have you tried the pronp5? & thoughts on a 11.75 glove at short 🤔 or 11.75 period, the trend in the MLB right now is longer glove deeper pocket. But I prefer a shallow pocket traditional thumb to middle & I flare the glove. I think the np4 would be perfect but I’m also debating the np5, I have a 11.5 pro200 right now
@JustinWinn342 жыл бұрын
@@Jags_904 I personally like 11.5 for mif but would use 11.75-12 at 3rd. It's all abt personal feel and depends on how the feels for you. I think 11.5 np is gonna be just a tiny bit smaller than an 11.5 200. If you are used to 11.5 I'd stick w 11.5
@TysonHook-22-2 жыл бұрын
@@Jags_904 Ive been using a PROS205-2BGS (Lindor) 11.75" I-web for the past 4 years and absolutely love it. These days I cant see myself going back down to 11.5" For 3rd and SS I think 11.75 is great, Im tall though at 6'4" and have large hands so 11.5 just always felt a bit small for me compared to 11.75, 12, and 12.25" gloves. And im one of those guys that likes a deep pocket to secure the ball during quick snags... So I go two in the pinky with all my gloves and personally I dont have an issue with quick transfers but again ive got large hands so finding the ball in a deep pocket aint much of an issue for me.

You do know the TT2 is a NP2 pattern right!
@JustinWinn343 жыл бұрын
Not quite an np2 would be a 11 inch glove and unless the np2 has different lacing then the np4 I think the tt2 has a few differences
