I think HD should have us ride one of their new ones every year for the channels :)

Glad you're enjoying the RG! My 2019 Street Glide. I threw a leg over it for the first time, and knew I was home. It was a dream come true. Ride safe & stay warm!

I know the feeling, brother, it’s a feeling unlike any other.

Enjoy your videos and have ridden HD for years. Have owned RG and now 2016 Ultra Ltd. Looked at the 24's and decided on a very low milage BMW 1250GS. Did not have to add exhaust, windshield, seat, shocks, or anything else and 10k less than HD. This bike is a blast to ride and when it comes to handling.....no comment needed. Enjoy your RG and ride safe!!!!!

Hears many good things about the BMW, if I did not have two I Would consider as well

The best bike I’ve owned is the one I’m on now. 2023.5 CVO Street Glide. It’s an incredible machine. My favorite ride was my 2002 Road King Classic. It was my first Touring frame - I had ridden soft tails and sportsters prior to that. I just remember the smoothness and the iconic headlight nacelle.

Freedom Shields are amazing. I put an 8” on my Street Glide Special. It’s amazing. Touring version

Never thought I'd buy a 24, wasn't a fan when they first came out. Still things I'd change, but picking up the sams white one you have this weekend. Definitely looking forward to it. After the test ride last week I was impressed and finally decided to give up my 2016 street glide I thought I'd ride forever.

Congrats on the new ride and hope you enjoy it!

My 2005 Road King Classic make me feel wild and free. My 2007 Yamaha XT225 makes me feel adventurous/explorer. And finally my 1969 Honda Z50 mini trail makes me feel like a kid again. Bought the Z50 in 1979 from a neighbor for $50 when I was 13, and that started the life long motorcycle habit. :)

Great video BoDean...I laughed so hard when you said it's Nipply. It has been the same here in Nebraska. My 2015 softail slim was the bike that just stands out. It was just raw, unrefined and after a cam, incredibly quick.
@BoDean52Ай бұрын
Just came back from Omaha and is was more NIPPY there, dang the wind

My favorite bike was a 1999 Fatboy. I had a bad wreck in the summer of 1986 on a Sportster and didn't ride for many years. I got the bug again in 2012. So, I found a beautiful fat boy with low miles and started riding. I couldn't figure out why it took so long to get back on one. I saw almost every part of Michigan on that bike. It was the gift to myself I didn't know I needed. I now have a 2014 Ultra Classic that Is almost as great. I've seen most of the East Coast from Maine to Florida on the Ultra. I think a lot of the love of a bike is what you do on it.

My old Suzuki Tempter was a fun no frills bike to ride, supper fun bike! But...not going to lie, the creature comforts of the 2020 ultra limited (now that I'm older) out weight the old Suzuki!😂 great video...stay safe out there!!😎👍🤙👍🤙🇨🇦

Hello BoDean: I recently discovered your channel researching a new bike purchase and I live near the McGregor/M36 intersection and I notice that you frequently ride down McGregor Road. I want to warn you that there is a 30 MPH speed trap at the south end by Portage Lake and you frequently cruise through there at 40 plus MPH. Better be careful or you will get a ticket! It is fun watching you ride all the great roads around here and find myself searching for landmarks until I can determine what road you are on which brings me back to your channel watching more videos! For what it is worth I had a 1990 Ultra Classic that I had to retire with 189,000 miles on it a couple of years ago. Stuck in the process of justifying to myself a new or newer used Harley purchase.
@BoDean5213 күн бұрын
Appreciate that and I think about it when I ride through there all the time it’s so easy to be over the speed limit there. We do have some of the better roads in southern Michigan for sure.

Just bought a 24 softail standard this summer and did the stage 2. And put a real nice saddlemen seat on. It is my first harley and it is so much fun. It has the 107 motor and with the torque cam and exhaust it makes some good power and sounds great. Just got done riding here in colorado. Was a nice 50 degree day here. Michigan can get brutal with the cold. I like the road glide also. One day I might chase one down.

Mine's a similar story to #whskywolf. My Road King is my third bike and much different than my v-4 750, v-twin 1100 Hondas . It came with windshield and docked king tour pak. I've added mini board highway pegs, drivers backrest, Hogworx lowers, replaced the windshield with a Memphis Shades batwing fairing topped with a nine inch solar tint windshield and added the lower skirts. I also installed a phone clamp and have the dual port charger cord to do this winter. Also in process of upgrading the lighting.

Love the bike, 21 rg stndrd. Less than 100 miles. I had to change the rear brake pedal. Right away. I was coming from a Suzuki Bandit, standard style bike. It’s taking a minute to get used to the controls. Love the roadglide.
@BoDean52Ай бұрын
That's awesome, I never noticed the pedal issue but need to go look now :)
@shawnmacwhinnie4481Ай бұрын
There are KZbin videos of the softbrake, and karyakin brands. I had to swap mine. I’m curious if it’s a me thing, or if you might have noticed. Shifting on the Suzuki was tight, tight controls. The rg has long throws. Learning.

My Road King my fourth bike and it definitely much different than my previous bikes, only add on done is touring pegs, phone mount and back rests oh and my freedom shield wind shield. Still get a great old school feel. Crispy feel riding in 20s and 30s though lol

I love my 2014 ultra limited! mostly because I can afford it. Lots of memories this year and 9,000 miles on it for the year of 2024. Im looking forward to what making more memories in 2025. Would I like a newer bike... sure but I dont like payments :-)

2024 Road Glide, aka “Night Ranger” is in the barn, next to 2013 King Classic, aka “Black Beauty”. About to head out on a quick run, high 50’a here in the SC coast. Still experimenting with ride modes, IFCU settings, screens, etc. Still under 1000 miles .. learning curve not as steep as I expected. Focus JED!

47 degrees here in mid Florida this morning. That's extreme for us. Buy this bike and leave it stock??? That's the wrongest thing I've ever heard! Stage 1 is the best thing you can do for your motorcycle. It breathes better, runs better! And riders triangle is a must. We are all different sizes. Always enjoy your channel.
