Bunker indust tracking pads are great too. Not as good as those but I’ve had them for years and used them dozens of times and they have held up

grade 8 is for shear strength (150k). use 304 or 316 Stainless. wanna get wild use naval brass better yet Hastelloy or Inconel

I can buy the regular ones and add my own nuts and bolts for traction. And it would be 100 bucks cheaper.

it will not be the same, bc there is two injection molds, one for normal boards, and one for the holes..If you cut and make the holes yourself, it will look bad. If you added holes because the boards were used alot and had burn nubs on the ends, then you an cut because they already look bad. I tried it and it was 1.5 hours and a disaster. I don't recommend. Besides, I sell normal boatd for 280 and metal boards for 340. $60 difference and the Yellow Zinc Grade 8 I use would cost you over 100 plus you'd need 1.5 hours time. 72 nylock Nuys, 72 bolts, 144 washers..Go.proce.it out and see.

yea, it definitely looks bad when its under your tire and you don't see it.....or like all the sprinter vans that haven't touched a trail that have them mounted on the side of the rig for looks

I am in Mission Viejo. The metal ones are 340 (compare to retail of 399 plus tax and shipping, would be 460). Boards have a 5 year warranty, and I put Yellow Zinc Grade 8 which is a major upgrade to the standard silver zinc. All colors in stock. LMK [e-mail]
