Lovely list, Ricki! Kadi Kadi is lovely for sure. I liked seeing them prep and serve all the delicious dishes. As someone who eats vegan, I do find it tough to find restaurants that serve that. The second time around, I learned that I can cook the local dishes myself, and I started bringing vegan cheese to pizza restaurants.

I honestly don't think you would have an issue going vegan in Gambia. Especially being that nothing is processed and everything is home grown :-) But If its in regard to already cooked food then I'm also interested in seeing what she can find in terms of restaurants

Attieke, alloco , puff puff , sweet potato , cassava , thiakry . There is a lot of options . Even take regular recipes and take off what vegans dont consume

I think you also add you amazing local food, like benachin, domoda, yazza... You can eat european food everywhere, but local food is only possible in The Gambia.
