Hi Rob, I'm so happy, my MAS collection finally arrived! 😍The box looks very pretty, I love the packaging, the color combinations, the graphics and the italian card of course… Excellent as well the matt finish for bottles and the classy touch of tissue paper! It's clear that you put a lot of passion, care and attention to every detail! Super! So nice to read your handwritten note inside the box, really thoughtful of you! Thank you so so much and have a wonderful evening. Ciao 🙂

i started with the Dr V's Antioxidant Serum (0.5% Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, 0.2% Retinyl Palmitate, 0.1% Retinaldehyde, 0.1% Retinol) with Face Theory's A15 (15% Azelaic Acid, Colloidal Oatmeal, and Green Tea) only 2x a week for multiple weeks and my face was burnnnnnng for 20min every time. Last night, I accidentally grabbed my A5 from G&G and had already pumped out some product so I decided to give it a try and it was sooo much more manageable (still with A15). There was a slight tingle but it was a 2/10 compared to the 8/10 I was feeling with the Antioxidant Serum. Decided I'm going to continue with the A5, move up to A10, then back to the Antioxidant Serum, and thennn give A20 a try!

Tretinoin 0.1, quite hard core here, but i have been using it for 6 years. Looking now to use on my neck, I can't tolerate it, although i never had any problem around my eye area. I like the idea of the MAS oil for the neck and the body! ❤

Thanks for a great video (as usual)! ✨ I use the retinAl from The Ordinary and it really does wonders for my skin, better than any retinOl from any brand I've ever tried! But I can only use it 3-4 times a week and definitely not every night, otherwise my skin flakes and becomes super sensitive. But it doesn't really matter, it still works so much better than expected and the product also lasts longer. 😁

Hey MAS Family, Any advice when you're going through some tough times as we all do in life and having a hard time caring/keeping the motivation to stay consistent with your skincare routine? Oh I am so sorry to hear your going through it hun.. I agree though we all have those times when doing a routine is just not the priority.. my advice would be to get a good multi active serum in your routine and use that daily and keep up with your SPF - simple routine but should help maintain the results until you feel able to do more.. stay strong and sending you so so much love xx

Thanks so much, Rob. THAT'S why you're having so much success. You haven't grown "too big to care." I think that's a great idea. I am prescribed tretinoin, and routine typically had 4-5 steps. Just no motivation to go through those lately, and I have never seen it as a chore, but "me time." I had even started Red Light Therapy just prior to everything seeming to crumble. Thanks for the advice and encouragement. I'll get back up and be stronger in the end. You know it's going to be your sunscreen. Would you recommend your antioxidant or serum (forget the exact name) alongside the sunscreen? Also, on THOSE days, would micellar water be OK for my cleanser? Sorry to add therapist to your title, lol. I really do appreciate it.
@tthibideau
@tthibideau 2 ай бұрын
Sorry to hear that you’ve had some rough times Jason. I totally understand the lack of motivation to go through a skincare routine some nights as it happens to me too. I think that when it comes to those rough times, you have to just do what you can do. If it means a micellar water to cleanse the skin, then so be it. Personally, if I was choosing between the super serum or the MAS antioxidant cream, I would go for the super serum as it is meant to give your skin what it needs. It is a skincare routine in a bottle. Overall, I hope you are well and that the rough times end sooner than later. Sending lots of love xxxxx

Thanks, Tom, I so appreciate the genuine care both you and Rob responded with. I'm definitely confident things are already starting to turn. I think you know what I mean when it's not just impacted skincare but all aspects of life, even those areas like skincare and weight training that I have always enjoyed and been "me" time while getting great results and boosting confidence. Had bloodwork and doesn't seem to be anything medically like mono causing it. I'm one to bottle things up and think the balloon just popped and having to face everything I'd bottled up. Having a great support group of friends and truly those like yourself and Rob to share truly has started the feeling of finally turning the page/ corner. In fact, on my way to the gym in just a bit. With all the truly incredible results this channel has allowed in terms of skincare, I'm determined to not allow this to also take some of those results away as well. I'll be ordering that serum and probably the sunscreen as well later today. My first since the new shipping, so hopefully, they will arrive much sooner. Thanks again. You two are proof of the massive benefits social media can have. I know we all deal with things and hope anyone who may read this finds it helpful. Life's too short, love one another. Thanks again!

At 55, I am told I look much younger, a student at a class I was teaching said I look 35 😊. This is what I do: I use retinol (not over my eyelids) every second or third evening, and vitamin C, i use red light therapy, micro current (Nuface but zip may be superior) , an amazing neck cream, of course copper serum every few days (very inexpensive, I use the ordinary) also a few serums, and I do consume hydrolyzed collagen, vitamin D , and I try to drink a good amount of water and exercise regularly, and I try to sleep on my back (I have a special pillow to help with this) hyaluronic acid is ok but it will suck the moisture out if u are in a dry climate, so slather moisture on top, also… some people like snail mucin for extra moisture or there are a few other good serums (esp Korean. Finds like beauty of Joseon), I haven’t tried NEWA yet for jaw laxity but I will try soon, laser treatments can be good too like Fraxel esp for under the eyes. For dry eyes, surprisingly, in addition to a heat mask and preservative free eye drops, caster oil, and the eyelets surprisingly seems to help lastly, I forget the name for it, but if you have quite dry eyes as I do, you can put your eye cream on and then put an ointment on top , Dr Dray recommends this , and it so works ! (Even Vaseline, if u have nothing else, will work). Yours in glass skin, cheers 🥂

There aren't many reviews on the face theory retinal serum. I'm searching for a multi active retinal serum...has anybody has positive experience? Face theory haven't disclosed their percentages in that serum.

Their new retinal serums all have the percentages disclosed and they have 3 different strengths.. are those the ones you mean ? x

@MadAboutSkin yes those are the ones. Do they disclose the percentages of the other ingredients like the niacinamide, vitamin c? X

Where is medik8?? You used to say it's the best! Maybe their pr needs to be more active
@MadAboutSkin

Its nothing to do with PR its down to the price point.. the Medik8 is still wondeful but I would say its as good as the G&G one which is 5x cheaper so why wouldn't we just go with that one :) - sending love
