Termux does *not* require root for most things, only the things that other apps would also need root for. You can treat it like Ubuntu in your phone, it can run most Linux applications. But it can also do things like enable the camera2 api on otherwise unsupported devices or access the root file system which requires root. But the shown ffmpeg example does not require root.

The video was great but just one problem. Android is based on "linux" kernel and not "unix" youtubedl and wget are the apps on Linux not unix. Just nitpicking i guess. Anyways the video was amazing. I use all the apps you mentioned in the video. Greatful that someone made a video with differeny root apps than just making a video on greenify and titanium stuff.

It more has to do with the hardware i guess. You can try a factory reset just to see if things change but I believe the button has worn out or stuck in.

@@fakkenamee5694 man I don't own a 5T. I'm using it's ported ROM. For rooting it, you'd need to unlock it's bootloader, load up a custom recovery, install magisk. Look on youtube, you'll find tons of videos on it.
