Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 7th tier of English football, the Isthmian League North. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. In 2023 we won the Isthmian League North and will now play in the Isthmian Premier!
We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 3rd tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division, after they also won their league in 2023. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams, an inclusive team and a walking football team...plus our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. As much as I think it is a fair result, we just keep doing it to ourselves. Mistakes leading to goals, and it was a mistake, we seem to be really struggling to hold on to games. What a save by Ted might I add, he is such a fantastic goalkeeper, being that young and having that much maturity in the game, unbelievable. @@johanpi4277 yeah obviously, your looking at the kids that have just entered senior level at age 16/17, the prem teams find the cream of the crop and if your lucky you can get a season loan with them at that stage, by their later teens they are already playing football league level. players like Curd who have just entered senior football essentially, by the time he is 19 he will be playing league 2 or league 1 obviously, they are stupidly young but they develop fast and by the end of the season your essentially having a player 3 tiers above the league your in.

What a save Ted Curd, its mental how difficult it is to get that sort of wrist strength and not put it into your own goal or kill it and give a forward a tap in, absolutely mental, remember this lads name hes going to be every bit as good as ant of the keepers there now at Chelsea or for England. Mental the club was able to get him and that he wasn't sent to some EFL club, mind you thought he probably will play more for us then being a number 2 at an EFL club so you can understand why they did it. It's Hashtag's first season at this level, as long as the points total keeps ticking over they'll be fine - target should be consolidation first, then a tilt at the playoffs next time around. They're playing well enough to start converting a few more draws to wins before long.

The front line is not pressing as hard because Restrpo doesn't really want to run he ain't a Shadow striker but more of an Attacking 10 type he just doesn't run compared to an acutal striker like misha and misha should've started over restrpo in 10 because AT doesn't work with somebody who is an actual 10 but a partner striker that breaks the lines and moves into the channels

I’ve got to say that’s kinda poor from Philp. Teds only a loanee and proved he deserves the spot and Philp will still have his spot next year. Pushing Page out and leaving at the first sign of competition isn’t a good look for a player.

That’s not even a competition - Hashtag didn’t loan in a EPL youth player just to be their 2nd GK. Now they need a backup keeper that only gets to play whenever that youth prospect is unavailable. One whole season on the bench isn’t something a 25 yo GK want - that would deteriorate his development. Also, how can u be sure that Philp would be a starting GK here again, given we don’t know about Hashtag’s transfer policy and even their chance of getting promoted? If they win promotion I’m sure they would go and find another GK for the 6th tier level. All in all, a player should care about his career first, and no amount of time is worth the wait when ur under 30.
