So going off a very basic Law of Armed Conflict course I had to take 30 years ago (damn, when did I get old?), non-signitaries to the Geneva Conventions do not benefit from its protections. Therefore bio warfare (& other actions) was always an option. Only by humans' morality was it not used prior to this. [At the risk of accidentally starting a flame war - that's not my intention, please - that's part of the argument for less humane treatment of groups & individuals like terrorists. Not supporting that, just pointing out something some people don't know.]

It's a bit like the rules regarding unlawful combatants though. It's not something a unit or even a theater commander is allowed to decide on their own. Until a determination is made at a political level all the Geneva conventions are applied.

Ask the Kurds about chemical weapons and human morality... Those that truly want vengeance do not self terminate but go down kicking and screaming and fighting for the hope of justice
@slowfudgeballs95172 жыл бұрын
I often wonder which religious belief is superior in achieving the optimal mode of being. I came to two conclusions: the judeo christian religions or an atheist with a judeo christian moral framework. To further explain, the christians will go down kicking so as to follow "god's path" as it is called. They are also confident it will benefit others or their community because of their beliefs. However, atheists have no intelligent design belief. Those people still need a religion to regulate their emotions or else you get untested new think in western societies. These people need to realise the universe is suffering tainted with malice. But, humans have the incredible ability to identify right and wrong, choose to ignore all that suffering, and do good regardless. We praise people who do that independent of religion. Religions got their ideas by observing humanity. Every human knows they are going out some day and want to make sure it's *_for something._* So make sure it's a good cause. Make it judeo christian based for a better chance. The Bible was informed by observing humanity. The first testament in the bible are old dramas, plays. They are unknown tens of thousand of years old. As for the the new testament and book of revelations, they are psychedelic in origin. We've sampled wine cups from that era and detected wine spiked with acid (ergot). The Bible is the longest ongoing history book with all the best lessons for humanity. Humans discovered it over thousands of years of refining and some people think the end result of this evolutionary process points to intelligent design, some don't.

Then again, heavy radiation poisoning does linger for longer than anyone is expecting. Anyway, don’t expect mercy from us when you mess with our civilians. One thing are the fighters who chose to fight and possibly die in war. Another completely different thing is to target our non-combatant personal.
