I agree discovery is the best I had a secure discovery for 1000, and in 7 months they graduate me to 2500. But my question is I have six unsecured credit card a total of $20,000 should I close my one and only U.S. Bank secure credit card? Also, this is 11 months after chapter 7 bankruptcy.

Hey Adam! So I tried the preapproval tool for USB. I have a Kroger card and a Shoppers card. I plan on downgrading the Shoppers Card in a few months to either the go or the plus. My concern is they said my maximum amount of unsecured limit. How do I get around this? Do I need to reduce my credit limits on the other two cards?

Are you saying you've reached the limit across all cards? If yes, then yeah see if they will move limits around to get you that card. Not sure if USB does that, but worth a try.

Yes, you will still have a hard pull for most, though not Chime or Open Sky.
